card tutorial: an easy joy fold card
1. measure & cut
lower card base:
- Basic White Thick Cardstock: 8 1/2 x 4 1/4, scored at 5 1/2
middle card base:
- Basic White Thick Cardstock: 8 x 3, scored at 4
layers (from bottom to top):
- Timid Tiger Cardstock: 5 1/4 x 4
- Florals in Blooms Designer Series Paper: 5 x 3 3/4
- Basic White Cardstock (Interior Sentiment): 3 3/4 x 2 3/4
- Timid Tiger Cardstock: 2 3/4 x 4
- Florals in Blooms Designer Series Paper: 2 1/2 x 3 3/4
- Timid Tiger Cardstock: 3 3/4 x 2 3/4
- Florals in Blooms Designer Series Paper: 3 1/2 x 2 1/2
- Basic White Cardstock (circle): 3 3/4 x 3 3/4
- Timid Tiger Cardstock (bloom): 4 1/4 x 2 1/2
- Basic White Cardstock (adhered to an Adhesive Sheet) (bloom): 4 1/4 x 2 1/2
2. stamp:
- Use a Mini MISTI stamp tool to position and stamp the sentiments (Sweet Blooms stamp set) in Timid Tiger Classic Ink as follows:
- “let joy” onto the 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 Basic White Cardstock as shown
- “where you’re planted” onto the 3 3/4 x 2 3/4 Basic White Cardstock as shown
3. crop:
- Use a Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine (Standard) to crop the “let joy” sentiment with the Spotlight on Nature 3 1/4 circle die.
- Use a Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine (Standard) and the Sweet Blooms dies to crop the Timid Tiger “blooms” die-cut and the white “blooms” die-cut.
4. assemble & adhere:
- Layer and adhere all coordinating Timid Tiger and Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper pieces together and to the card bases as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Adhere the middle card base to the center of the lower card base (making sure the middle base opens to the right) with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Wrap with White 1/4″ ribbon, securing with a bow as shown.
- Remove the protective backing from the Adhesive Sheet used on the Basic White “bloom” sentiment and adhere it to the Timid Tiger Bloom.
- Adhere the “bloom” to the die-cut circle with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals and to the middle card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
5. embellish:
- Add three Timid Tiger 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls to the card as shown.
