card tutorial: wishing you well card
1. measure & cut
portrait card base:
- Basic White Thick Cardstock: 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2
snipped envelope flap:
- Floral Delight Designer Series Paper: 5 3/4 x 2 1/2
layers (from bottom to top, before die-cutting):
- Floral & Gingham Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper: 5 1/4 x 3 1/4
- Floral Delight Designer Series Paper: 4 x 1 1/2
- Basic White Flagged-End Banner: 3 3/4 x 1
- Lemon Lolly & Pecan Pie Cardstock (“wishing”): 4 x 2
- Pecan Pie Cardstock (branch): 5 1/2 x 2 1/4
- Basic White Cardstock (stamped & die-cut images): 3 x 4
2. stamp:
- Use a Mini MISTI stamp tool to position and stamp the sentiment (Delightful Wishes stamp set) in Pecan Pie Classic Ink onto the 3 3/4 x 1 Basic White card stock.
- Use a Mini MISTI stamp tool to position and stamp the flowers and leaves (Delightful Wishes stamp set) in Lemon Lolly, Pecan Pie, and Old Olive Classic Ink.
3. crop:
- Crop the Floral & Gingham Vellum with the 2nd largest (4 7/8)Around it All circle die.
- Use Paper Snips to flag the end of the Basic White sentiment layer.
- Adhere an Adhesive Sheet to the 4 x 2 Pecan Pie cardstock piece (“wishing”).
- Crop the following with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) and the coordinating Delightful Wishes Dies:
- Pecan Pie – “wishing” and branch
- Lemon Lolly – “wishing”
- Stamped Images – flowers & leaves
4. assemble & adhere:
- Adhere the vellum, Designer Series Paper and flowers/leaves (to the branch) with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Remove the protective backing from the Pecan Pie “wishing” die-cut and adhere to the Lemon Lolly drop shadow.
- Adhere all remaining pieces with Mini and Standard Stampin’ Dimensionals.
5. embellish:
- Adhere 3 Tiny Bee Trinkets with Multipurpose Liquid Glue as shown.
6. envelope:
- Adhere the 5 3/4 x 2 1/2 Designer Series Paper to a Basic White Medium envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Flip to the inside of the flap and carefully snip away the excess with Paper Snips.
