Create a simple thank you card using Stampin Up Definitely Dahlia and One Big Meaning Stamp Set - Mary Fish StampinUp

Today I’m highlighting two of my “go to” retiring stamp sets:  Definitely Dahlia Background Stamp Set and One Big Meaning Stamp Set.  I love the bold design of Definitely Dahlia and the variety of pretty fonts and ways to say “thank you” in One Big Meaning!

Create a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ Crumb Cake card base using the Stampin’ Trimmer.  It cuts and scores.  Layer a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Lemon Lime Twist card stock on top.

  1. Thanks for featuring the dahlia stamp and the “thanks” collection. I love the dahlia, but i don’t use it enough. I like your take on it and I will be pulling it out of the stamp cabinet immediately!

  2. I have to say that this color combination is outside my comfort zone, but that’s what I enjoy about reading your blog and others who are so creative and can show me new ways. If I received it, I would be thrilled. So why not make one like it? That’s a great question for me. Have a great Saturday, Mary, and keep the creative juices flowing.

    • Hi HJ . . . Thanks for your comment! I started with Powder Pink and it was beautiful. However, it felt too feminine for a thank from “all of us.” The combination with Lemon Lime Twist is pretty striking in real life.

    Your cards are so beautiful!
TY for sharing your artistry and ideas.

  4. Simple – and simply stunning. This Dahlia always floors me, and I love what you’ve done with it here. <3

  5. Thanks, Kadie. Lemon Lime Twist is a bit of a challenge to photograph and get true. I like the combination with Chocolate Chip in real life even more!
