Sending Sunshine with these 13 Simple Sympathy Cards

These 13 clean and simple sympathy cards are some of my top picks from the archives. Many of the products are retired but offer oodles of inspiration for using new products or supplies you already have on hand! I would love to hear which one of these 13 handmade cards inspires you the most!

Quick Tips for Sympathy Cards

  • Choose a soft, soothing color scheme – i.e. calming colors like pastels, whites, light blues offer a sense of peace and tranquility with your handmade card.
  • Use a simple and elegant design – a plain and simple card with minimal products! Think floral, trees, etc.
  • Subtle Embellishments – ribbon, small adhesive dots, hearts or butterflies steps up the handmade card and adds a subtle touch.

  2. All the cards are just beautiful. The card in the lower right corner, is that an old die? I can remember the flower from a few years ago. It would be nice if the card maker would put the year the supplies came from.

  3. Thank you so much for displaying these beautiful cards! It was exciting to see these using “older” stamps and dies… luckily I have them all! LOL
