A Sympathy Card from Our Mystery Stamping Fun!

Create these two cards using Simply Elegant DSP and Art Gallery from Stampin' Up! Cards by Mary Fish Stampin' Pretty

MYSTERY STAMPING!  Last Thursday I met virtually with my Stampin’ Pretty Pals Community and we had a BLAST with Mystery Stamping!  A supply list (with lots of individual choices) and proportions were provided in advance.  Clues were presented during the virtual gathering and each Pal worked on their own creation. 

The cards that I am sharing with you below are my concept of the clues shared with the Pals. 

Create these two cards using Simply Elegant DSP and Art Gallery from Stampin' Up! Cards by Mary Fish, Stampin' Pretty

STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL (NO FUN-FOLD): 

Begin with a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Very Vanilla Thick card base. 

Layer and adhere a 3 3/4 x 5 piece of Very Vanilla card stock to a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Basic Black card stock together and to the card base with Stampin’ Seal

Adhere a 3 3/4 x 2 3/4 piece of Simply Elegant Designer Series Paper to the bottom portion of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

Create this sympathy card using Simply Elegant DSP and Art Gallery from Stampin' Up! Cards by Mary Fish Stampin' Pretty

Adhere a 2 1/4 x 4 piece of Simply Elegant Designer Series Paper to a 2 1/2 x 4 1/4 piece of Very Vanilla card stock with Stampin’ Seal

Triple wrap with vanilla Baker’s Twine Essentials, securing with a bow. 

Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals

Use a Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment (Art Gallery Stamp Set) in Tuxedo Black Memento onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. 

Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the coordinating Floral Gallery die. 

Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals

POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish with three Matte Black Dots. 

Create these sympathy cards using Simply Elegant DSP and Art Gallery from Stampin' Up! Cards by Mary Fish Stampin' Pretty

STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL (FUN FOLD): 

Begin with a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base of Very Vanilla Thick card stock. 

Cut 2 1/2 inches from the bottom of the front of the card base (save for later). 

Adhere a 3 3/4 x 2 3/4 piece of Simply Elegant Designer Series Paper to the remaining portion of the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

Layer and adhere a 5 x 3 3/4 piece of Very Vanilla card stock to a 5 1/4 x 4 piece of Basic Black card stock together and to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal

Create this dutch door fun fold card using Simply Elegant DSP and Art Gallery from Stampin' Up! Cards by Mary Fish Stampin' PrettyAdhere a 4 x 2 1/4 piece of Simply Elegant Designer Series Paper to the 4 1/4 x 2 1/2 piece of Very Vanilla card stock (cut from the card base) with Stampin’ Seal

Triple wrap with vanilla Baker’s Twine Essentials, securing with a bow. 

Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. 

Use a Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment (Art Gallery Stamp Set) in Tuxedo Black Memento onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock.

  2. These are great designs for sympathy cards. Sadly, we need a stash of them now days. But the design is versatile with a different sentiment they would be perfect for other occasions. Enjoy your day!
