Today launches a new Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge (PPA161). Card making is so much easier when you start with a good sketch like this one by Margaret Moody. Check out what the rest of the PPA Resident Artists have come up with using the sketch and PLAY ALONG HERE!
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- I love these heart “rings.” How about you? I first cropped the small heart and then cropped around it with the larger heart. I used the Stampin’ Up! Hearts Collection Framelits and my Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine for both sizes.
- The sentiment from Yippee-Skippee stamp set was stamped on Whisper White and Real Red card stock. The Real Red heart was cropped using a Hearts Collection Framelits Die, layered and popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals for a “spotlight” effect.
- I couldn’t have done all this without the help of my new Big Shot Magnetic Platform. Stay tuned for a 1 Minute to WOW! video tomorrow to show three easy ways I used the Magnetic Platform to create this card.
- A coordinating envelope takes full advantage of the “I Am Me” Designer Series Paper. I used the Stampin’ Up! Simply Scored Scoring Tool and Diagonal Plate to create the custom envelope. Finished card size is 5″ square and envelope is 5 1/2″ square. Click here for a printable measurement chart.
