I’m a HUGE fan of die cut words and the Sunshine Thinlits Dies deliver an impressive message. They are new in the Stampin’ Up! 2016-2017 Annual Catalog and on the list of My Favorite Things.
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- I trimmed 3/4″ off the right front of my 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card base (Thick Whisper White Card Stock). That allows the chevron pattern from Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper to peek from behind.
- Easy! A little paint spattering from Gorgeous Grunge stamp set adds modern texture.
- Save 10%! Purchase the Sunshine Thinlits Dies and the coordinating Sunshine Sayings Stamp Set (“sending”) together and save 10%. Print a handy list of Stampin’ Up! 10% off bundles.
- The Perfect Touch! The Crushed Curry heart is from Regals Enamel Shapes (one of My Favorite Things).
- The engineering of the new Big Shot Platform adds just the right pressure down the middle for a clean crop of the flower and “sunshine” die cuts from Sunshine Thinlits Dies. Un-wedge the bits with the Big Shot Die Brush.

This card is absolutely adorable. LOVE!
Thanks, Cindie. I debated on using the splatters from Gorgeous Grunge but like how it made the card feel a bit more eclectic!
Love this clean & dramatic card!. And yes, those enamel shapes are fab! Love everything about this card, Mary.
Sunshine received loud and clear with this beautiful card. So pretty with the flower over the edge to show the inside paper a bit, the grunge to add interest and the sentiment with the matching heart. So pretty!
I’m going to be there is an enamel shape on almost every card I make, HJ. Just the perfect, colorful pop!
MsMary, YES YOU ARE !! ❤️ ”

Thanks so much, Frenchie and Kadie. Your daily comments keep me inspired!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this card Mary.
Awesome card Mary! Love how you have the enamel heart working double time as the dot of the i and sending love with the sunshine! =-)
Good eye, Dawn. I love how that worked out, too. However, I didn’t discover it (dotting the “i”) until I was moving that little banner around trying to find the perfect spot!
I love this, Mary. Great color combination and use of these new dies. Love the cut of this card, too – showcases the paper beneath so well. Friendly tip: don’t stare into the 12×12 sheet of this tightly zigzagged paper. You’re welcome.
Love that tip, Brian. Once I adhered it, I kept thinking it wasn’t straight because the lines make my eyes go wonky. I promise it’s straight!
