This quick and easy to assemble Stampin’ Up! Book Treat Box (watch my 1 Minute to WOW! Video Tutorial on how to assemble it) will warm your heart and nicely package six Hershey’s Nuggets. The adhesive is part of the box ready to go (peel and stick)! The inside box slides top to bottom so you can open and close it without having to untie the ribbon or mess with the fun design.
WHAT I LOVE! This quick Halloween treat box highlights more of the darling Halloween stamps and dies from the Stampin’ Up! Potions & Spells bundles. I used the polka dot pattern in Summer Splash from the 2024-2026 In Color Designer Series Paper (DSP) and Full of Life Designer Series Paper (DSP) (broom and bottle) for a slightly softer, “aged” Pumpkin Pie.

how to cut your cardstock & dimensions:
- Pumpkin Pie Card Stock:
- Layer – 2 3/4 x 3 3/4
- Broom & Bottle Die-Cuts – 3 x 1 1/2 (before die-cutting)
- Summer Splash 2024-2026 In Color Designer Series Paper:
- Layer – 2 1/2 x 3 1/2
- Hershey Nugget Wraps – 1 x 3 (qty 6)
- Basic Black Card Stock:
- Broom Handle, Bottles, Bubbles Die-Cuts Die-Cut – 3 1/4 x 2 (before die-cutting)
- Basic White Card Stock:
- Stamped & Die-Cut Books – 2 1/2 x 2 (before die-cutting)
- Stamped & Die-Cut Sentiment – 2 1/2 x 1 1/4 (before die-cutting)
how to make this quick halloween treat box:
- Assemble the tray of the book treat box by folding on the score lines/tabs, removing the adhesive protective strips, and adhering together.
- Wrap the book jacket around the tray and adhere together with the tab. PRETTY TIP: Leave the two long adhesive protective strips in place if you want the tray to slide in and out. If you want to open it like a book, remove the strips and adhere the tray in place. Watch My 1 Minute to WOW! Video Tutorial on how to assemble the quick Halloween Treat Box here.
- Wrap the book with Summer Splash 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon, securing on the side of the book treat box with a bow as shown.
- Layer and adhere the Summer Splash Designer Series Paper to the Pumpkin Pie layer together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and to the top of the book with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Use a Mini MISTI stamp tool to stamp the sentiment and book stack (Potions & Spells Stamp Set) in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto the Basic White card stock pieces. Watch my 1 Minute to WOW video: The Magic of the Mini MISTI for a quick product demonstration here.
- Crop the following with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini):
- Stamped sentiment – 2 x 3/4 Wild Ferns die
- Stamped book stack – coordinating Potion & Spells die
- Basic Black layer – Potion & Spells bubbles, broom handle, bottle, and bottle “liquid”
- Pumpkin Pie layer – Broom sweep and bottle
- Color the stacked books with Pumpkin Pie Dark & Summer Splash Dark Stampin’ Blends. PRETTY TIP: Don’t worry about making it perfect. Old books should have some shading and even a little white peeking through.
- Adhere the following to the book with Multipurpose Liquid Glue as shown:
- Bubbles, black bottle, broom stick
- Black bottle liquid to the Pumpkin Pie bottle as shown
- Adhere the remaining pieces as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Wrap 6 Hershey’s Nuggets with the 1 x 3 strips of the floral pattern in Summer Splash 2024-2026 In Color DSP. Secure on the bottom of the nugget with a couple Mini Glue Dots.
- Set the nuggets inside the book treat box tray then slide into the book jacket.
- POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish with 1 large and 2 small Summer Splash 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems.
