Love this…a bookmark and a card! Perfect for birthday cards and perhaps end of year teacher cards/gifts!
Anyone who loves to read or mark their place!
How did you tie the ribbon? Is it a simple overhand knot?
Hi Marilyn: I flipped it over (sentiment facing down) and tied it like a necktie. Hope that helps. M
Hi Jeanne: What a wonderful idea! The bookmark is a smidge under 2″ wide (so that it fits perfectly into the Banner Triple Punch and 4 1/2″ long (top to bottom).
Can you share the dimensions of your bookmark? This is an awesome card that we would like to use in our card ministry. We could adapt the bookmark for whatever outreach we are doing at the time. Shut-in, sympathy, birthday, etc… So awesome
Thanks, Lora. Anyone who loves to read would be especially grateful.
Video tutorial for the bookmark pocket is ready to go for tomorrow’s post! Stay tuned!
The card is so nice, and a very thoughtful little extra in addition to someone receiving the card.
I will be watching for the video.
Really pretty card and bookmark. I use to get my students to make bookmarks to use during our silent reading time. This would make a really nice end of school year gift to students.
Wonderful idea, Robbye. I love to read (my mom was a librarian). Having plenty of bookmarks is a part of that!
Thanks, Kadie. I thought it would be perfect for her. She is in the hospital and the bookmark might be just the thing to mark her reading materials!
I’m in LOVE with this stamp set! And the 12-year old girl is going to FLIP over her card.
Thanks, Maria. This card is destined for a 12 year old girl who could use some cheering up!
What a beautiful card with a sweet little gift attached. Everybody needs a book mark, don’t you think? I can’t wait to see the video tomorrow, I can think of a few girlfriends who’d love to receive a card like this.
Thank you so much for sharing.
