This simple sympathy card was created with Stampin’ Up! Abstract Impressions Photopolymer Stamp Set & Springtime Impressions Thinlits Dies.  Get them now as a bundle and save 10%!  These products will carry over and be available individually in the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog (starts June 4) but no longer be offered as a 10% off bundle.

STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:

Create a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 card base using Whisper White Thick card stock. 

Adhere a 5 1/4 x 4 piece of Gold Foil to the card base with Snail Adhesive. 

Create this sympathy card using the Springtime Impressions Dies and Well Said Bundle by Stampin' Up! Mary Fish, Stampin' PrettyCut a piece of Blueberry Bushel to 5 x 3 3/4.  Use a die-cutting machine to crop the butterfly (Springtime Impressions Dies) and “sympathy” (Well Written Dies) at the same time.  Adhere to the Gold Foil with Snail Adhesive. 

Create this sympathy card using the Springtime Impressions Dies and Well Said Bundle by Stampin' Up! Mary Fish, Stampin' PrettyUse the die-cutting machine to crop the butterfly and “sympathy” in Whisper White Thick card stock.  Adhere to the negative space (gold areas) of the Blueberry Bushel cropped card stock. 

Use the Stamparatus to stamp the “heartfelt” sentiment on Whisper White card stock in Blueberry Bushel ink.  Trim to size and adhere with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. 

Add four Metallic Gold Pearls as shown (one on the body of the butterfly). 

Create this sympathy card using the Springtime Impressions Dies and Well Said Bundle by Stampin' Up! Mary Fish, Stampin' PrettyUse the Stamparatus to position and stamp the sentiment (Well Said) in Blueberry Bushel ink onto the interior of the card.

  5. Sympathy cards can be the hardest to create……..but you created a card that is not only pretty to look at…..but looks like it might make the task a tad bit easier to create this card.. Thanks for sharing!

    • I have needed several sympathy cards lately. This one is quite quick, especially when you run both the butterfly and sympathy die through the die cutting machine at the same time!
