Today’s card has a fresh, fall palette (Merry Merlot, Pumpkin Pie and Mint Macaron) and proves just how versatile the Takeout Treats stamp set and coordinating Takeout Thinlits Dies are. This “love” card is a perfect surprise for my daughter, Caroline, to receive in the mail.

SAVE 10% when you purchase the Takeout Treats stamp set and Takeout Thinlits Dies as a bundle. This bundle made the list of My Favorite Things in the Stampin’ Up! holiday catalog.
STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:
Create a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base with the Stampin’ Trimmer and Stampin’ Up! Thick Very Vanilla card stock. I love the switch to Very Vanilla for fall and thick card stock has more “heft” for a card base (as well as the hearts).
Create three flagged elements. 1 7/8″ wide x 5 1/4 (stripe pattern from Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper), 1 1/2 x 4 1/2 (Mint Macaron card stock), 1 x 4 7/8 (Pumpkin Pie card stock). Crop the flagged end for each using the Stampin’ Up! Banner Triple Punch. Layer and adhere to card base with Snail Adhesive as shown.

Using the Stamparatus stamp positioning tool (learn why you need one here), stamp the “love you lots” sentiment (Takeout Treats stamp set) in Jet Black Stazon on a 3 3/4 x 3 1/2 piece of Thick Very Vanilla card stock.
Using the Stamparatus, stamp the heart pattern (TakeoutTreats stamp set) in Pumpkin Pie ink on Very Vanilla card stock. Crop the heart with the coordinating heart die from Takeout Thinlits Dies, the Big Shot and the Magnetic Platform (to keep the image in place)..
With the same heart die (Takeout Thinlits Dies) and the big shot, crop a heart from the same Merry Merlot stripe (Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper) and Mint Macaron card stock.
Adhere a piece of Crumb Cake Nature’s Twine as shown to the 3 3/4 x 3 1/2 piece and anchor with Glue Dots. Adhere hearts as shown with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tie two bows with Crumb Cake Nature’s Twine and adhere on ends with Glue Dots.

Add a touch of bling with Faceted Dots (black) on the Mint Macaron heart and before the sentiment. Adhere the 3 3/4 x 3 1/2 piece with Stampin’ Dimensionals to card base.
The finishing touch is an envelope liner. Crop a Pumpkin Pie polka dot pattern from Regals 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper using the Big Shot and envelope liner die from Beautiful Layers Thinlits Dies. Adhere with Snail Adhesive (or adhesive or your choice) to the inside of a Stampin’ Up! Very Vanilla Medium Envelope.

The colors are wonderful. This bundle is extremely versatile. The mere fact that I seem to LOVE everything I try to find things that I DON’T HAVE TO HAVE so I can save money and space; however, as if by osmosis you put them in my sights and then I think “I MUST HAVE THAT” because of all the fantastic things I can do with it…how do you do that, LOL?? It must be the “MIDAS MARY TOUCH”! As always, TFS
The Midas Mary Touch! I need to remember that. Thanks for your sweetness, Juanita.
Cute card! The summer has flown by and I am in need of some paper therapy. (and I need to replenish my card supply. ) Your cards always makes my heart go pitter patter. Thanks for the inspiration.
