Painted Harvest Melon Mambo 3 x 3 Minis

Stampin Up Painted Harvest 3 x 3 Note Cards in Wood Crate Die Ideas - Mary Fish StampinUp

The Stampin’ Up! Painted Harvest suite of products says “fall” to me in a big way.  However,  I needed a simple gift and thought Melon Mambo would be a splashy switch up from traditional fall colors.   Tomorrow I’ll have a new 1 Minute to WOW! Video Tutorial for you with quick tips for putting this pretty gift all together.

I love hearing from you!  Please leave me your questions or comments about the project for today.

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • Each 3 x 3 card was created with Stampin’ Up! Thick Whisper White Card Stock.  Large or small – it’s perfect for a card base.

  • Tone on Tone.  Painted Harvest Photopolymer Stamp Set is a two step stamp set which offers so many color possibilities as you layer.  However, I simply layered Melon Mambo on Melon Mambo since there is plenty of shading built into the stamp.

  • What’s that stamp for?  The tiny dotted stamp brings texture to the flower center.
  • Smoky Slate 1/2″ Gingham Ribbon proved to be a beautiful way to wrap up the three 3 x 3 cards with three Whisper White 3 x 3 envelopes (envelopes available Sept. 1 in the Holiday Catalog).

  • The wood crate and tag were cropped with the Wood Crate Framelits Dies.  The sentiment (I love the look) is from Wood Words Stamp Set.  Both are from the Annual Catalog and available for purchase now.  Save 10% when you purchase them as a bundle.

Here are more card ideas to inspire you using the Painted Harvest Suite of products.

    • You are so observant, Miss Donna. That tiny flower is from the Stampin’ Up! Paisley Framelits Dies.

  7. I love this little bundle of cards, Mary! Perfect for any occasion! I also love the built-in shading on these stamps. You always amaze me with your designs.

  8. Would love to see how you decorated the mini envelopes that you put with this set! Thanks for sharing this set, Mary. They are gorgeous as always.

    • Hi Debbie: I kept them clean and whisper white. However, they would be sweet with a touch of the wood designer paper on the flaps or stamped with the leaves from Painted Harvest stamp set on the front (right or left). So many more possibilities! Hugs, M

  9. Can the 3 x 3 card we sent in the mail or is it just as a gift card?

    • The 3 x 3 does not meet the minimum requirement for USPS. It’s perfect as a gift tag or tucked in as a little surprise (under a pillow, in a lunch bag, taped to a mirror)!

  10. These little minis are WOWZA! Mary, I must say thank you to you! Each and every day I check out your blog. You and your blog are AMAZING!

  12. Love this! I’m sure the recipient will enjoy it. I love seeing the little crate made up in the wood look paper…very cool. It’s always fun to see you think outside the box with colors and occasions for products! Have a great day ☺️
