Thanks, Marcia. Glad the tips were helpful. I tied the gingham ribbon and then added the tag with a piece of linen thread (wrapping it around the knot), trimming off the ends. The tag is from Wood Crate dies and I used a tiny flower from Paisley Framelits for dressing up the tag “hole.” Here’s the original post for the project with more tips and supply list: https://stampinpretty.com/2017/08/painted-harvest-melon-mambo-3-x-3-minis.html
Thanks so much for the tip with the crate with one sheet of DSP! I do have a question about how you tied the ribbon with a loop first? Also how did you create the tag with the Melon Mambo flower/decoration?
OMG Mary, I have wasted so much of the Wood DSP, why didn’t I realize that little square wouldn’t even show inside the crate!?! Thanks so much for sharing!
Don’t look back, Dee. You’ll know for the next batch of crates!
Thank-you for showing us that we can cut the crate from one sheet of paper and patch a small piece on the bottom. What a paper saver and I will remember that for future projects. Awesome! Thanks again!
Great tutorial and a good way to use up some of those little pieces of paper that seem to accumulate. I’m getting better with using them. Thanks for sharing.
Love hearing your picked up some tips from the video, Patricia. Thanks for your comment.
Great ideas as per usual!
Thanks so much, Sharon!
I agree, Frenchie. The gingham ribbon is the perfect touch!
Yes but how exactly did you TIE the ribbon please?
Gorgeous project, lovely for gifts

You looped it somehow but I could not work out how ?
Gorgeous project, lovely for gifts

I tied the ribbon (gingham) first. Then brought linen thread around the knot (with the tag on it) and tied. I trimmed the ends to make it look neat. Thanks, Marthea.
Here’s a video I shared previously on tying a pretty bow! https://youtu.be/dRyjZ08mNW8
Awwww, I love that box and cards , that ribbon made it look sooooo lovely ,

Hugs ♥️
Love spending Saturday mornings learning from you Mary! I was really struggling with this stamp set so your tips have given me a new look on how to use it. Also love the color you chose. But the tip on the crate was the best! I thought there was a lot of waste by having to use two sheets.
Thanks so much for your inspiring tutorials!
I lOVE that you can just use one 6 x 6 to create the 2 parts of the crate. Think of all those possible crates! Thanks, Pam!
I can’t wait to try this stamp. Great card.
Mary, love this sweet little gifts, they are always perfect to give to the teachers and coaches of my grandchildren.
This is a gorgeous stamp set, thank you for this fun to watch video.
XO
Maria.
There’s something very calming about watching you stamp – and I love to hear your voice walk us through the process. I love these cards and the finished project.
That is what I love to hear, Brian. I find my stamping time personally calming and hope others feel the same. Good therapy and good for the soul.
DARLING project Mary ……. And I totally agree that the Painted Harvest set is a MUST HAVE for the upcoming fall season.
Mary what a great video as always. I love the mini cards. The flower is so stunning. What did you do with the dark part of the card on the bottom. Have a wonderful day.Hugs,Ellen Hinds
Thanks for your comment, Ellen. The dark part on the bottom of each card is a coordinating 1″ x 3″ piece of the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper. It’s the same as I used on the Wood Crate!
