STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- Stampin’ Up! Apple of My Eye photopolymer stamp set promises “fruitful” results and card friendly fonts.

Love that Lemon! Great video tutorial!
Thanks, Carolynn. It’s hard to capture the sparkle in photos or the video. Much more dazzling in real life!
Mary, great video! I love the Wink of Stella as well, but you might want to mention that the ‘clear’ brush may come out looking silver/gray when you first start to use it. Mine now runs clear, but not before I ruined my SIL’s birthday card! Thanks for all your great tips on cardmaking.
Good tip, Liz! Thanks for sharing as well as your kind thoughts. I shook mine a bit before first opening it . . . hoping that helps, too!
I shook mine ALOT (I’m just a tad OCD?) before opening! I’ve talked to others that had the same problem. That being said; I’m hoping SU! offers more colors in the future because it really does look wonderful on cards.
Stampin’ Up! offers clear and gold glitter brushes now. I, too, would love to see more. Maybe black, silver or copper?
I like how you are “diagramming” the photos (sentences???!!) with arrows, and squares indicating the product.
Thanks so much, Helen!
Thanks – I have a Wink of Stella pen, but have not tried it yet. Great to have some hints and direction.
You’ll love it, Jude. Just be sure to give a gentle shake of the ingredients and remove the ring (so the glitter can flow). Then start painting!
Love your video on the Wink of stella…. just getting used to using it! Your lemon card is so Spring! Thank you for your tips!
Loving these kind comments1 Thanks! Pam . . . I paper snipped the leaves using my Paper Snips. Best advise is to pull a bit on the leaves while cutting . . . that seems to help control.
Mary, What a cute card. I love the simple card. It just pops off the page. I love your video. The Wink of Stella works great. I love all the tips you do so nicely. Have a great day, Thank You, Ellen Hinds
Love your sweet card Mary. I have been using the wink of stella on a lot of different stamps and the wink of shimmer is perfect.”
Did you snip those leaves? Any tips for perfect snipping?
Mary …. Did I see in one of your posts that you have a sheet listing “good color combinations” on it? Picking the right colors is a problem for me. Would love to have some help in that area.
I love so many of your creative cards and enjoy your blog so much. I am now loving it even more since you are putting the little flags of the products used right on the picture of the card. So very helpful. Thank you.
I found out the hard way that the black ring needs to be removed before using (or squeezing). Needless to say……LOVE your suggestions and card. Favorite part my friend…….the addition of the Wink of Stella.
So true, Kadie. I’m not a “glitter” gal because I cringe at the mess. With Wink of Stella, it’s so easy to add a sweep of “glam” to anything.
Brilliant suggestion, Maria. Cap on . . . then shake! As always, your comments are cherished!
Oh Mary, what a bright and beautiful card, love the lemons and yes, I can see the Wink of Stella on them, they shimmer beautifully.
Thank you for this video, I always enjoy seeing you create your beautiful cards.
If I may share a tip about the Wink of Stella…..When you shake the brush, make sure you have the lid on otherwise, the liquid sometimes comes out and splatters your work surface, you really don’t have to shake it all that hard, but if the brush has been either laying or standing, the sparkles can settle.
Have a great day.
