Today (February 15) is the last day Sky Is the Limit stamp set is guaranteed to be available as part of the Stampin’ Up! Sale-A-Bration promotion (earn a FREE Sale-A-Bration gift for every $50 in product you purchase). The same is true for Sale-A-Bration’s Hello stamp set (including the option to get the uber cool French version Bonjour – example here) and Perfectly Artistic Designer Series Paper. Based on inventory, available products may be temporarily extended.
Starting tomorrow (February 16), these new Sale-A-Bration products will be added gift choices! Look for ideas using these products by using my “search” tool on the top right of my blog.
For today’s card, I combined Sale-A-Bration’s Sky Is the Limit stamp set with this week’s Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge (MOJO435)
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- The Sky Is the Limit vintage airplane was paper snipped (I love my Paper Snips scissors for navigating the curves) and popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A single rhinestone is the perfect bling for the center of the propeller.
- The two panels of Going Places Designer Series Paper Stack measure 2″ x 4″. They are layered over Basic Black which is 1/4″ larger (2 1/4″ x 4 1/4″).
- I adore the classy font for all the sentiments in Sky Is the Limit stamp set.
- Pin it! The neutral colors of my Stampin’ Pretty Mix add a vintage and masculine vibe to the card.
- Pin it! Here’s a handy photo with Stampin’ Up! product info!

Have this stamp set and just love it. Can be used for so many cards. Have several friends that have there own plane and I know she would love to receive a few of these that she can share with her friends that fly. Will have to make her a few.
Hi Mary,
A few years back you told us how to make liners for our home made envelopes with the envelope punch board. I can’t find my directions anywhere. Could you tell me again? please?
Thank you.
Happy to help, Barbara. I believe this is the video you are looking for. https://youtu.be/sq23wwHPeZM
Oh I love how you did this , love all those layers, and love black and white
Tfs.
Hugs Frenchie
Thanks so much, Ellen. Great chatting with you yesterday by phone!
Mary, Wht a great card. The layout and the colors are so wonderful together. You always come up with great ideas. Have a wonderful day, Hugs,Ellenn Hinds
Love what you did with this stamp set…. Amazing!
I like both the lay out and the stampset. I’ll be sure to be using it myself. Though most probably will be replacing the DSP with a embossed panel.
I usually do not have any DSP in mu supplies, as I tend to hoard my DSP only, without ever using it 🙂
Richard! Please use your pretty paper! It’s mean to be shown off.
Lovely comments. Thank you!
Beautiful landscape for this sweet plane. Great neutral-based card!
Love this card. Reminds me a the Glen Curtis Museum located in Hammondsport, NY. They have pictures of the old planes flying over the Keuka Lake (my favorite) .
