My dear paper crafting friend, Linda White, sends me a beautiful, handcrafted CD calendar year after year.  Each year it becomes one of my most popular blog posts.  I’m proud to share Linda’s 2016 CD calendar today!  Thank you, Linda, for allowing me to showcase your creative genius and generous details!

Linda’s base color for each calendar size is 4 3/4″ x 5 1/2″.  The black mat is 3 3/4″ x 5 1/4″.

January CD Calendar

JANUARY

  • Base:  Soft Sky cardstock
  • Designer Series Paper from Nordic Noel 2″ x 2 3/4″
  • 1 3/4″, 1 3/8″, and 1″ Circle Punch
  • Sponge Whisper White circles with Early Espresso Ink
  • Large Star Punch for nose, Pumpkin Pie cardstock
  • Early Espresso cardstock with Snowflake Punch for arms
  • 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon for scarf, attach with Mini Glue Dots
  • Stampin’ Dimensionals
  • Bling for black eyes is from Recollections.  Apply with Tombow Glue.

    Mary, I am so glad you posted next years calendar. I made 15 of these using the instructions for the 2016 calendar and all my friends and family love them. I also kept one for my self and enjoy it while doing dishes as it sits on the kitchen bar. Getting ready to make this one now.

  14. Does Linda purchase the spiral bound calendars and the just cut off the tops? I only see where the eBay seller has spiral bound 2017 calendars for sale. Thank you.

    • If you go to the contact seller and let her know, I am sure she will get more available. They are the 2 1/2 x 5 blank 2017 calendar, no cutting of anything off, they are perfect when you get them!!

    • I bought mine in bulk from a site called CDRom to go, but there are people on etsy who sell smaller numbers.

  22. I don’t use the cd case, instead I bought a small easel from Michaels. Just a different way to display them. They look adorable any way you see them displayed.

    Mary I don’t seem to find the instructions on how to fix the cd case and putting the calendar inside of it. Also, do you put one month in and remove it to put the next month in?
