STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • The Stampin’ Up! Scalloped Tag Topper Punch is the key to this quick and easy treat holder.  Cut card stock to 2″ (I go just a smidge less for a perfect fit in the punch) x 11″.  Punch each end and score strip at 6 1/2″ from each side.
  • The “nest” base begins with a 3 1/2″ square of Whisper White card stock.  Score all four sides at 3/4″ and crop a small circle in the center. I used the second smallest of the Stampin’ Up! Circles Collection Framelits Dies with my Big Shot Magnetic Platform for “stay put” placement.

  • I “snoozed” and missed the first round of availability for the Stampin’ Up! Fringe Scissors.  As an alternative, I used my Paper Snips for the Pear Pizzazz fringe.  Good news!  The Fringe Scissors will available again on or before April 30.
  • My bunny came to life from the Stampin’ Up! 3/4″ Circle Punch and Small Oval Punch.  I “fed” ovals halfway into the Small Oval Punch to crop and create the ears.

  1. Mary, This is so adorable. I appreciate the directions. You are so talented. Hugs, Ellen Hinds

  2. Thank you for sharing, Mary. Your use of the circle framelit for the “base” was the best way to do it, as my attempt at using the 1 inch and 1 1/4 inch circle punches would not have allowed the circle to be centered. Somehow I didn’t do my 3/4 inch scores correctly, and the base wouldn’t quite fit in the “bookmark.” So much for my attempt at my first 3-D project. I do think these would make nice favors for a baby shower. Just personalize the outsides of the “bookmark” with baby stamp set images. Thank you for the idea!

  3. So cute Mary! I snoozed on the fringe scissors too. Hopefully they arrive soon.

  4. Carol Carriveau

    Very cute, Mary!

  5. This is so sweet!! Can’t wait to see how you made the bunny come to life!

  6. I needed to tuck a touch of So Saffron somewhere to keeping the look bright and white!

  7. Oh, and the adorable tiny scallop peeking out just adds to the precious-ness!

  8. SOOOOOOO stinkin’ CUTE, Mary!!!!

I’m going to make my “bunnies” today to be ready for your tutorial for the inside! Love the Chevron
ribbon, it adds just enough color and “pizazz!” His little “tail” is so precious!!
Thank you for this darling 3-D project, I just love it!

  9. SO darn cute. Can’t wait for your video, Mary!!

  10. Aww!! so cute and pretty, love this little bunny Mary. We, my daughters and I, are planning an Easter party for the kids, we hope the weather cooperates because there will be a scavenger hunt/Easter Egg hunt in my backyard. This little Easter Egg holders would look adorable at the table but someone should keep an eye on me, this Cadbury Chocolate Eggs are so darn delicious!!! Thank you in advance for the video, it will be really helpful.

  11. This is one SERIOUSLY CUTE 3-D packaging. Might have to make one for myself for Easter. Too bad your Fringe Scissors hadn’t arrived yet……GREAT use of our Paper Snips. DARLING PROJECT Mary!

  12. Ooo, my , my , I love it !!! That’s a vary cute bunny !!

MsMary , so neat and pretty !!! NICE !!!

  13. Oh my goodness! All those deliciously layered elements in one place is just ADORABLE! And the bunny has come back again this year!!! That new stampin studio just brings out creativity, doesn’t it? I’m like you and need everything neat and tidy when I get started creating or I just can’t think. Too easily distracted by things around me if I have more than one project going at a time.

  14. Nancy Farrell

Lovin’ It!! Immediately I loved the ribbon going around the whole project and the little bent bunny ear. What a great “bring to life” touch. I also like his tail. Your snipped grass is more precise than the fringe scissors, ha. ha. I like how you told us the punch pack is on the weekly sale. That is just such a nice little touch. Thanks for going that extra step. 🙂

  15. So cute. These would make adorable placecards at the table with the addition of a name printed on the bunny! Great idea and I can’t wait for the tutorial.
