What could be more festive and fresh for spring and Easter than this week’s Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge (PPA199) and a Cadbury Egg treat holder! Check out what the rest of the PPA Resident Artists designed with these colors and PLAY ALONG HERE!
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- The Stampin’ Up! Scalloped Tag Topper Punch is the key to this quick and easy treat holder. Cut card stock to 2″ (I go just a smidge less for a perfect fit in the punch) x 11″. Punch each end and score strip at 6 1/2″ from each side.
- The “nest” base begins with a 3 1/2″ square of Whisper White card stock. Score all four sides at 3/4″ and crop a small circle in the center. I used the second smallest of the Stampin’ Up! Circles Collection Framelits Dies with my Big Shot Magnetic Platform for “stay put” placement.
- I “snoozed” and missed the first round of availability for the Stampin’ Up! Fringe Scissors. As an alternative, I used my Paper Snips for the Pear Pizzazz fringe. Good news! The Fringe Scissors will available again on or before April 30.
- My bunny came to life from the Stampin’ Up! 3/4″ Circle Punch and Small Oval Punch. I “fed” ovals halfway into the Small Oval Punch to crop and create the ears.
NEW VIDEO TOMORROW! I’ll have a 1 Minute to WOW! Video Tutorial for you tomorrow so you can visually learn how to put the treat holder together!
