SALE-A-BRATION GOES LIVE TONIGHT! Details and the Sale-A-Bration Product Brochure will be available on my Stampin’ Pretty Blog at midnight (Mountain Time).
- Stampin’ Up! In Colors are always “spot on” with the latest fashion and home d?cor colors. Here’s my “palette” from the cover of a Ballard Designs catalog. It sings Summer Starfruit and Island Indigo to me!
- Luscious. The Island Indigo Ribbon (exclusively available during Sale-A-Bration as part of the Sycamore Street Ribbon & Button Pack) is easy to work with and gives a satiny finish.
- I’m a texture maven and immediately fell in love with modern look of the Vine Street Embossing Folder (another Sale-A-Bration exclusive).
- Experiment with balance. I moved the “hello” stamp (Sale-A-bration’s Pretty Petites Stamp Set) to several different spots until it felt at home.
- The Island Indigo rectangle measures 3 1/2″ by 1 3/4″. The squares of Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper (left) and Whisper White (right) measure 1 1/2″ square.

Hi Cath . . . I don’t sell the cards. I sell the products to create them. Please let me know if I can help you further! M
So pretty. Where can I purchase these cards. I’ll give them to a new friend.

Must see Alaska Fishing Lodge
I love the color, I love the design, I love the idea. I think this would make a perfect card for our wedding invites.
Love this card – if anything could make me like summer star fruit, this combo must be it! The flower die cut is the perfect accent – something else to add to the wish list!
🙂 My pleasure Mary… Thanks for everything! Hugs!
Ooops! I had a typo in the measurements. I corrected it above. The Island Indigo rectangle measures 3 1/2″ by 1 3/4″ (NOT 1 1/4″). Thanks, Donna, for the “catch!”
That’s EXACTLY what I was wondering about; where was that flower from, LOL?!!! Thanks for that… and your wonderful step by step photo tell-alls…. It’s awesome how you are inspired by magazines too… I should buy a few perhaps! 🙂 YOU are so inspiring; thanks for your friendly manner of teaching so many things to us, I love it all Mary!!! Hugs, Donna
This is so perky! I love your handcrafted flowers….so sweet!
Just love this color combination makes me think of spring. TFS
You did a great job with the design, as always. I too am not crazy about Summer Starfruit….it reminds me of a pair of pj’s I had as a child growing up in the 60’s…I wore and so did both my younger sisters….to this day we still laugh about those “yucky yellow” pajamas! Inspiration? You, of course, lots of magazines and color combos/designs I see while traveling….always have my camera handy, snap a photo of what inspires me….save for ideas.
ooh pretty Ms Mary , like always , yep your ribbon looks good !! I love it ,
love those colors !!
hugs frenchie,
I love this color combination!
Your card is absolutely so much fun to look at! I love the MOJO layout, the colors, the embellishments . . . I just love it! You NEVER disappoint your followers! 🙂
I’m also not to fond of the color yellow but you did a beautiful job using it here. It has to do with what other colors you combine it with and the ones you picked for this card go perfect with each other.
You asked us if we get our inspiration for our cards from fashion or home decor magazines…..well, I really don’t get any of those so, I get my inspiration from you. I often go to your fabulous gallery and I always find what I need there.
Thanks for helping me to like yellow.
Yummy mix of colours and a great take on that sketch (which kicked my butt LOL!). Love the EF too!
Love that embossing folder (it’s on my wish list) along with your clean, crisp card style!
Always enjoy seeing what you come up with! I too wasn’t crazy about Starfruit, but it is growing on me and I’ve been using it more and more. The new DSP in the SAB helps!
For inquiring minds, the fun retro flower is from the Blossom Party Originals Die (115971). Currently, my favorite flower shapes!
It’s fun for me to hear you are warming up to Summer Starfruit. The green based yellow reminds me of the 60’s . . . very retro and “Mad Men.” If you look back at fashion and home d?cor for the era, you’ll see it everywhere as well as currently.
Absolutely gorgeous color combo, Mary! I am really loving the way you rock this sketch! It through me for a loop, but you have inspired me! Must play after work and the guys are fed! Thanks for sharing!
I’m with Katie, I didn’t care for Summer Starfruit when it first came out but I’ve kind of fallen in love with it now. I love it paired with Island Indigo and really love your card. Happy Stampin’!
LOVE this color combination! I have to ADMIT that Summer Starfruit was my least favorite new In-Color….but I seriously am finding myself pulling more and more of that color out these days. AWESOME and FUN card Girlfriend!
