Yesterday was a busy day with the launch of Sale-A-Bration, Stampin’ Up!’s biggest promotion of the year. Fortunately, I found a little time to escape and create a Quick and Pretty card and video for you using the clear block stamping technique.
SO TELL ME . . . please leave me a comment below on whether you have stamped using blocks previously or plan to after seeing the video.
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- Liz Hughes, a member of my Stampin’ Pretty Pals, also created a card and video today using clear block stamping. Be sure to visit her DIY Paper Creations Blog and see how we each used the same technique with very different results.
- NEW! Check out that darling cupcake stamp from Best of Birthdays. Stampin’ Up! is celebrating it’s 25th Anniversary with monthly collections of Stampin’ Up! oldies but goodies (plus a brand new stamp in each set)! Best of Birthdays is the first release for 2013! Read all about it!
- Daffodil Delight, Pool Party and Pumpkin Pie are a lively color combination with a retro edge. I used the same color combo on this second card above.
- If you want a softer look, stamp the block off once on a piece of scratch paper. Experiment with different saturations. There’s no right or wrong way!
