card tutorial: sweet & simple card
1. measure & cut
landscape card base:
- Very Vanilla Cardstock: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4
layers (from bottom to top):
- Strawberry Slush Cardstock: 5 1/2 x 3 3/4
- Very Vanilla Cardstock: 5 1/2 x 3
- Strawberry Slush Cardstock: 4 x 3/4
- Very Vanilla Cardstock : 2 1/2 x 1
2. stamp:
- Use a Mini MISTI stamp tool to position and stamp the sentiment (Fancy Borders stamp set) in Strawberry Slush Classic Ink onto the Very Vanilla card stock.
3. crop:
- Crop the following cardstock with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard):
- Crop the bottom of the card base (both layers at the same time) and the Very Vanilla layer just above the edge with the Fancy Borders edge die.
- Crop the front layer of the card base just above the scalloped edge with the Fancy Borders heart die.
- Crop the Strawberry Slush and sentiment layers with the two smallest Textured Notes Dies.
4. assemble & adhere:
- Adhere the Strawberry Slush layer to the inside of the card base front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Adhere the Very Vanilla scalloped layer to the front of the card base as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Adhere the Strawberry Slush and sentiment die-cuts as shown with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
5. embellish:
- Tie a bow of Strawberry Slush Twine (Pack Your Bags 3 Pack). Adhere tucked under the corner of the sentiment with a Mini Glue Dot.
- Add Strawberry Slush 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls as shown.
