card tutorial: keyword subheading
1. measure & cut
portrait card base:
- Basic White Thick Cardstock: 4 1/8 x 11, scored at 5 1/2
snipped envelope flap:
- Floral Delight Designer Series Paper (DSP): 5 3/4 x 2 1/2
layers (from bottom to top, before cropping):
- Floral Delight Designer Series Paper (gingham): 4 x 5 1/4
- Floral Delight Designer Series Paper (pecan): 3 1/2 x 3 3/4
- Basic White Cardstock (layer): 3 1/4 x 3 1/2
- Basic White Cardstock (flower): 2 1/2 x 4
- Basic White Cardstock (sentiment) 2 1/2 x 1
2. stamp:
- Use a Mini MISTI stamp tool to position and stamp the sentiment (Everyday Arches stamp set) in Pecan Pie Classic Ink onto the Basic White card stock.
- Use a Mini MISTI stamp tool to position and stamp the daisy as follows:
- Outline & Center – Pecan Pie
- Petals – Daffodil Delight
- Stem/Leaves – Old Olive
3. crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini):
- Crop the sentiment with the 2 1/4 x 3/4 Texture Notes die.
- Crop the daisy with the 2 x 3 1/4 Everyday Arches die.
- Crop the center of the gingham Designer Series Paper with the 2 1/4 x 3 1/2 Everyday Arches die tucked inside the 4 1/4 x 3 Everyday Arches die.
- Crop the center of the pecan Designer Series Paper with the 2 1/4 x 3 1/2 Everyday Arches die tucked inside the 2 5/8 x 3 7/8 Everyday Arches die.
4. assemble & adhere:
- Layer and adhere the Designer Series Paper to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Adhere the Designer Series Paper arched layer together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and to the Basic White layer with snipped Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Adhere the layer to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Adhere the daisy layer to the white within the center of the arches as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Adhere the sentiment to the card as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals (left side only).
5. embellish:
- Tie a bow of Linen Thread . Adhere it tucked under the corner of the sentiment with a Mini Glue Dot.
- Add one of the Pecan Pie Neutral Matte Dots to the sentiment as shown.
6. envelope:
- Adhere the 5 3/4 x 2 1/2 Designer Series Paper to a Basic White Medium envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Tip: Add glue to the flap, not the Designer Series Paper.
