Daisy Wellness Wishes

Stampin up daisies well wishes

I hope to brighten an ill aunt's day with these die cut daisies in rich fall colors.   If you are a regular reader, you know how much I love fashion and home d?cor magazines for inspiration.  The patterned chair (below) from a Crate and Barrel catalog got the creative juices flowing.

STAMPIN' PRETTY TIPS:

  • Stampin up daisies #2 flower close up The card base is 4 1/8" x 5 3/8, scored on the top.  It's slightly smaller than a standard A2 (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") card so that I could allow the daisies to "overflow" on the sides but still fit in an A2 sized envelope.
  • Layering die-cut shapes creates a quick and colorful background.
  • I use Stampin' Dimensionals on almost every card.  3D can take a simple card to wow.
  • A single rounded corner and Jumbo Brads make an elegant statement on on the sentiment.

  2. Very nice! Love those colours, earth tones are my favorite. Like the bit of “bling” that has been added onto your flower on the header too mary. Nice.

  3. Beautiful card Mary! It is like receiving a bouquet of flowers in an envelope.

  4. That’s it – I am digging my catalogs out of the recycle box and see if it works for me! Hmm the last one I put in there was the Hog one (Harley gear) – that should make an interesting card 🙂 Love the flower bursts Mary!

  5. Love it Mary! I love the tip for making the card a little smaller so the card will fit in the envelope. A beautiful card for your Aunt 🙂 xx

  6. I love this card, Mary, and your inspiration was definately obvious. Once again you have challenged me to get outside of my box and try something totally original. Thanks, and I hope your aunt feels better very soon.
