card tutorial: simple congrats card
1. measure & cut
portrait card base:
- Misty Moonlight Cardstock: 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2
snipped envelope flap:
- Take to the Sky Designer Series Paper: 5 3/4 x 2 1/2
layers (from bottom to top)
- Basic White Cardstock: 4 x 5 1/4
- Smoky Slate Cardstock: 4 x 1 1/4
- Misty Moonlight Cardstock: 3/4 x 4
- Basic Gray Cardstock: 1/2 x 3
- Take to the Sky Designer Series Paper (circles): 3 x 3 and 2 x 2
- Basic White Cardstock (sentiment): 3 x 3 (before die-cutting)
2. stamp:
- Use a Mini MISTI stamp tool to position and stamp the sentiment (Around it All stamp set) in Misty Moonlight Classic Ink onto the Basic White card stock.
3. crop:
- Crop the sentiment with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) and the coordinating Around it All die.
- Crop the Designer Series Paper with the 3 7/8 and 1 3/4 Around it All dies.
4. assemble & adhere:
- Layer and adhere all pieces as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, and the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
5. embellish:
- Embellish with 5 clear Transparent Adhesive-Backed Dots.
6. envelope:
- Adhere the 5 3/4 x 2 1/2 Designer Series Paper to a Basic White Medium envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Flip to the inside of the flap and carefully snip away the excess with Paper Snips.
