card tutorial: classic masculine birthday card
1. measure & cut
portrait card base:
- Basic Beige Cardstock: 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2
layers (from bottom to top):
- Cajun Craze Cardstock: 3 3/4 x 3 3/4
- Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper: 3 1/2 x 3 1/2
- Basic Beige Sentiment: 2 1/2 x 1/2
- Basic Beige Balloon Die-Cut: 1 1/2 x 3 1/4 (before die-cutting)
2. stamp:
- Use a Mini MISTI stamp tool to position and stamp the sentiment and balloons (Stampin’ Up! Spring Corners stamp set) in Cajun Craze Classic Ink onto the coordinating Basic Beige layers.
3. crop:
- Crop the balloon image with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) and the coordinating Spring Corners die.
- Snip the end of the sentiment at an angle with Paper Snips.
4. assemble & adhere:
- Adhere the Designer Series Paper and balloon die-cut with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Adhere remaining layers with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
5. embellish:
- Tie a bow of Cajun Craze Natural Tones Linen Thread. Adhere with a Mini Glue Dot.
- Add three Cajun Craze Earth Tones Shimmer Gems as shown.
