card tutorial: heartfelt diy valentine
1. measure & cut
portrait card base:
- Crumb Cake Cardstock: 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2
snipped envelope flap:
- Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper: 5 3/4 x 2 1/2
layers (from bottom to top):
- basic white cardstock: 3 3/4 x 3 3/4
- bloom impressions designer series paper: 5 x 3 1/4
- poppy parade cardstock: 5 1/4 x 1
- Crumb Cake Cardstock (before punching): 4 1/2 x 2 1/2
- Basic White Cardstock (sentiment): 2 7/8 x 3/4
2. stamp:
- Use a Mini MISTI stamp tool to position and stamp the sentiment & “hearts bundle” (Stampin’ Up! Hugs for Love stamp set) in Poppy Parade Classic Ink onto Basic White card stock.
- Use a Mini MISTI stamp tool to position and stamp the “hearts in a row” (Hugs for Love stamp set) in Poppy Parade Classic Ink onto Crumb Cake card stock approx. 1 inch apart.
3. crop:
- Crop the stamped Crumb Cake cardstock with the To the Point Label Punch.
4. assemble & adhere:
- Adhere the bottom three layers together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Adhere the two stamped pieces together and to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals as shown.
5. embellish:
- Tie a bow of white Baker’s Twine Essentials, adhere tucked below the sentiment, with a Mini Glue Dot.
- Embellish with three Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels.
6. envelope:
- Adhere the 5 3/4 x 2 1/2 Designer Series Paper to a Basic White Medium envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Flip to the inside of the flap and carefully snip away the excess with Paper Snips.
