Celebrate with these 7 Simple Birthday Cards

These 7 clean and simple (CAS) birthday cards are some of my top picks from the archives. Many of the products are retired but offer oodles of inspiration for using new products or supplies you already have on hand! I would love to hear which one of these simple birthday cards inspires you the most!

3 tips for clean and simple birthday cards:

  1. Use Minimal Layers: Stick to one or two layers of cardstock for a clean, streamlined look. Simple matting or a single focal image helps keep the design from feeling too busy.
  2. Choose a Bold Sentiment: A large, well-placed sentiment can serve as the focal point of the card. This draws attention and keeps the need for additional embellishments minimal.
  3. Limit Color Palette: Stick to 2-3 complementary colors for a cohesive, minimalist design. A limited color scheme ensures the card remains simple while still looking polished.
