my simple card tutorial
how to cut your cardstock & dimensions:
- Basic White Thick Card Stock:
- Card Base – 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2 (top)
- Basic Black Card Stock:
- Layer – 3 3/4 x 5
- Die-Cut Word Drop Shadows & Heart – 3 1/2 x 5 (before die-cutting)
- Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, and Coastal Cabana Card Stock:
- Color Blocks – 3 1/2 x 1 1/2
- Basic White Card Stock (adhered to an Adhesive Sheet):
- Die-Cut Words – 3 1/2 x 5 (before die-cutting)
how to make this simple card:
Begin by burnishing the fold of the Basic White Thick card base with a Bone Folder.
Layer and adhere the color blocks to the Basic Black layer together and to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) to crop the words from the Basic Black and Basic White (adhered to an Adhesive Sheet) card stock using the Love for You Dies.
Remove the adhesive backing (Adhesive Sheets) from the back of the Basic White die-cut words and adhere to Basic Black die-cut drop shadows.
Adhere the die-cut words and heart to the card with Standard and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish with three small black Classic Matte Dots.
PERFECT POLISH! Adhere the 5 3/4 x 2 1/4 Coastal Cabana Brights 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper to the Basic White Medium envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. IMPORTANT: Add glue to the flap first, not the Designer Series Paper.
