CUT YOUR CARD STOCK – DIMENSIONS:
- Poppy Parade Card Stock:
- Card Base – 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2
- Basic White Card Stock:
- Layer – 3 x 5 1/4
- Punched Circles – 2-3/8″ (bottom) and 1-3/4″ (sentiment)
- Crushed Curry Card Stock:
- Layer – 2 1/2 x 4 7/8
- Flirty Flamingo Card Stock:
- Punched Circle – 2″ (middle)
- Merry Bold & Bright Designer Series Paper:
- Layer – 2 1/4 x 4 5/8 – (optional: cut diagonally first, then trimmed to size)
- Envelope Flap – 5 3/4 x 2 1/4
PROJECT TUTORIAL:
Begin by burnishing the fold of the Poppy Parade card base with a Bone Folder.
Adhere the 3 x 5 1/4 Basic White layer to the card base as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Adhere the 2 1/4 x 4 5/8 Designer Series Paper layer to the 2 1/2 x 4 7/8 Crushed Curry layer together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Double wrap with white Baker’s Twine Essentials, securing with a bow on the left as shown.
Adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use a Clear Block G to stamp the sentiment onto the Basic White 1-3/4″ Punched Circle.
Adhere to the Flirty Flamingo 2″ Punched Circle with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and to the Basic White 2-3/8″ Punch Circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals, doubling up on the right side.
POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish with an Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewel.
PERFECT POLISH! Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the Designer Series Paper to the outside flap of a Basic White Medium Envelope. You can see my video demonstration with tips on adding designer paper to an envelope flap here.
NOTE! A tapered corner of the Designer Series Paper was created from cutting the Designer Series Paper at a diagonal. I cut the opposite side to match and then trimmed the envelop flap with a Paper Snips for a clean finish.
