The Stampin’ Up! Tiny Christmas Trees Die makes paper crafting magic year round.  Today’s gratitude card in Basic Black and Crumb Cake shows its versatility and potential well beyond Christmas.

WHAT I LOVE! Don’t forget every time you use the Tiny Christmas Trees Die as background, there are a whole lot of mini trees cropped and waiting for some paper crafting action.  How about using them as filler for a shaker card, embellishing a tag or lining them up in a row for a sweet detail?

MY STAMPIN’ PRETTY PROJECT TUTORIAL

CUT YOUR CARD STOCK – DIMENSIONS:

  • Basic Black Card Stock:
    • Card Base –4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2
    • Die-Cut Sentiment – 3 x 1 3/4 (before die-cutting)
  • Crumb Cake Card Stock:
    • Die-Cut Layer – 3 7/8 x 5 1/8

PROJECT TUTORIAL:

Begin by burnishing the fold of the Basic Black card base with a Bone Folder.

Crop the largest Crumb Cake layer with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) and the Tiny Christmas Trees die.

Adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Rub the Basic Black sentiment layer with an Embossing Buddy (Embossing Additions Tool Kit).

Use a Clear Block C to stamp the sentiment (So Sincere Stamp Set) in Versamark Ink onto Basic Black layer.

Cover with white Basics Embossing Powder. Tap to remove the excess. Set with a Heat Tool.

Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) to crop the sentiment with the 2 3/4 x 1 1/4 Tailor Made Tags die.

Thread three strands of Linen Thread through the hole of the tag, securing in place with a bow.

Adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

POP OF PERSONALITY!  Embellish with black Classic Matte Dots.
