Welcome to the Pals February Blog Hop. This month we are excited to share with you what we love about Stampin’ Up! – our stamps, tools, accessories and techniques.
You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Sherrie Gross at Stampin Sunshine, Stop #12 on the Pals Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.
What do I love the most when it comes to paper, stamps and ink? For starters, I LOVE monochromatic cards. Stampin’ Up!’s Coastal Cabana is the star of today’s card. I mixed and matched Coastal Cabana patterns from Fresh Prints Designer Series Print Pack (Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog). So easy!
One of my favorite Stampin’ Up! tools is the Big Shot Magnetic Platform. It allowed me to quickly line up and crop out a frame (a square cut within a square) using my Squares Collection Framelits Dies.
The Stampin’ Up! Envelope Liners Framelits Dies (true love) and my Big Shot Die Cutting Machine produced an envelope liner that is a match made in heaven with the with Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Medium Envelopes.

What better color to pick for a monochromatic card but Coastal Cabana! Nicole did a great job on the cute badges!
I love the look of your card. I never think to use a monochromatic color scheme. Thanks for sharing.
Such a “cool” card. Time to head for pool. 🙂 Thank you Mary!

What a beautiful, elegant monochromatic card! I just started following your blog about a week ago, and I am so amazed by your unique, refreshing “take” on ideas. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
Love the fact that you are sharing what you love…I love the Stampin up community!! Even though I have never met you, Mary, I feel as though I know you..My daughter -in-law wants to start stamping…and she asked me where to start, so while I am in Phoenix visiting her….we will find a Stampin Up club for her to join…and some day she will inherit my craft room…my son better add on to the house!!!
Mary, this is such a great example of a monochromatic card! I love how the lined envelope adds a finishing touch!
Sweet card. Mary! Love how you used the blossom to “dot” the I!
This is a true classic “Mary” card… clean, crisp and so very lovely.
SU does such a good job getting everything to coordinate. Makes my paper crafting time that much more fun!

Love the monochromatic look of this card Mary. LOVE the results you achieved with using the Magnetic Platform to get your square inside a square. Thanks for sharing that tip with us.
So pretty! I love the monochromatic look as well!
Great card Mary. It shows how easy it is to make a stunning card for those who are color challenged! Love it!
Am I a fan of monochromatic cards? YES definitely! As my card corner develops and my supplies are growing, I am slowly learning how great all the SU products work together. 🙂
This card shows just how beautifully Stampin’ Up! products coordinate! So pretty, Mary!
Love the look of this monochromatic card, Mary. The patterns mix nicely so we can “enjoy” the sentiment.
