Stampin' Up! Poinsettia Place Masculine Card

CARD #3! Today I am sharing my third card using the sketch below along with the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper. The earthy, rustic feel of the DSP is perfect for a masculine creation.

STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:

Begin with a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Soft Suede card base.

Zip 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Crumb Cake card stock through a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine tucked inside an Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder.

Adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Seal.

Layer and adhere a 3 x 4 1/2 piece of Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper to a 3 1/4 x 4 3/4 piece of Soft Suede card stock with Stampin’ Seal.

Double wrap with Linen Thread, securing with a double bow.

Adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Use a Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment (Best Year Stamp Set) in Soft Suede Classic Ink onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock that has been cropped with the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the die from Painted Labels.

Cut a Mossy Meadow 1-5/8″ stitched circle die-cut (Stitched Shapes Dies) in half with a Paper Trimmer.

Adhere to the back of the sentiment label as shown with Stampin’ Seal.

Adhere to the card as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

POP OF PERSONALITY! Add three Pearl Basic Jewels that have been colored with a Dark Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Marker.

THE FINISHING TOUCH! Use the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine along with the Envelope Die to crop the design from a Very Vanilla Medium Envelope flap.

Use the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine along with the scalloped edge Envelope Die, to crop a 5 1/4 x 6 piece of Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper.

Adhere to the inside of the envelope with Multipurpose Liquid Glue being careful to avoid glue around the die-cut on the flap.
