STAMPIN’ PRETTY STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL:

Begin with a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 card base of Whisper White Thick card stock.

Layer and adhere a 5 x 2 piece of the gingham Come to Gather Designer Series Paper to a 5 1/4 x 2 1/4 piece of Pretty Peacock card stock.  Adhere to the card base with Snail Adhesive.

Layer and adhere (Snail Adhesive) a 3 3/4 x 2 1/2 piece of the feather Come to Gather Designer Series Paper to a 4 x 2 3/4 piece of Pretty Peacock card stock.  Wrap with a piece of Whisper White Solid Baker’s Twine, securing with a bow on the left.  Adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Use a Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment (Free As A Bird Stamp Set) in Pretty Peacock Classic Ink onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. Crop with the smallest Stitched Nested Label Die and a die-cutting machine, leaving just enough room on the bottom for the Pretty Peacock rhinestone.  Adhere as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the perfect polish – Use a die-cutting and embossing machine, the envelope liner die (Beautiful Layers Dies) and the gingham Come to Gather Designer Series Paper to create an envelope liner.  Adhere to the inside of a Stampin’ Up! Whisper White Medium Envelope with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

TIP: To avoid embossing and plate marks, I dedicate a relatively clean bottom cutting plate for envelope liners.  Flip the pattern over and cut on the opposite side.  You can use a bone folder to help soften lines, too.

To layer over the top and protect the card during it’s trip in the mail, I embossed a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 piece of coordinating Pretty Peacock card stock with a die-cutting machine and a 3D Embossing Folder (Pinewood Planks).
