Mojo Monday Bird Silhouette Card

Let’s kick off the week with a new Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge (MOJO264).  I stuck very close to the sketch this week but kept the elements simple.

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • I pulled this page from a Crate and Barrel catalog because I loved the bird silhouette and colors on the pot.  It was my inspiration for today’s card.  What do you think?

  • My intention was to keep the color palette to Lucky Limeade, Always Artichoke and Very Vanilla.  However, I spotted a piece of Raspberry Ripple that I had embossed previously and  felt it brought the design to life.

  • A pretty polka dot pattern was added to the envelope flap.  I removed the excess using Stampin’ Up! Paper Snips.  Our snips really know how to navigate the curves!
