Start with a Whisper White Note Card as your card base.
Use a Stampin’ Sponge to apply Pumpkin Pie ink in a circular motion to a 3 x 4 1/2 piece of Whisper White card stock.
Use the Stamparatus to stamp the cactus in Fresh Fig Classic Ink.
Wrap a piece of 3/16 Braided Linen Trim around the bottom portion of the card stock, securing it with a bow.
Build a Whisper White and Mango Melody flower from card stock using the punches from the Bitty Blooms Punch Pack. Adhere together with a Mini Glue Dot. Adhere to the card with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.
Use the Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment in Fresh Fig Ink onto Whisper White card stock. Trim to 5/8 x 3 1/4. Flag the end with the Tailored Tag Punch. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Start with a Whisper White Note Card as your card base.
Use the Stamparatus to stamp the cactus in VersaMark Ink onto a 3 x 4 1/2 piece of Whisper White card stock. Cover with Call Me Clover Stampin’ Emboss Powder, flick to remove excess and set with a Heat Tool.
Use a Stampin’ Sponge to apply Mango Melody ink in a circular motion over the top of the cactus. TIP: Be sure to wipe the excess ink off the embossed area so that it doesn’t transfer.
Crop a piece of Poppy Parade card stock using the heart die (Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies) and the Big Shot.
It looks like candy! Adhere a Heart Epoxy Droplet to the center of the cropped heart. Add color with a Dark Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Marker. Adhere to the card with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.
Use the Stamparatus to stamp the “Hi There” sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Brilliant and wonderful!
Thanks, BK. I enjoy having a stamp set that reflects my surroundings!
Hi, Mary! I’ve ordered from you several times and you seem to be the most knowledgeable person ( when talking StampinUp), I don’t know about other things!??. My question is this, I didn’t realize how important the papers were when using the stamp sets. I am wondering if there is any way I can get ahold of some Santa’s Workshop paper. I’m probBly too late but I’m already thinking next Christmas! I’m still pretty new to cardmaking so I’m still learning how and what to order. Thx for your help. Bonnie
The Flowering Desert was the first item on my pre-order. LOVE this set. And how you created the background sunset/glow is FABULOUS. Thanks the inspiration……Playing some more with this set this weekend.
So glad to see SU have a good cactus set for all of the stampers out west! I immediately thought of you when I saw this set so am glad you got it out to play already. Great cards, Mary!!
Agreed . . . perfect for the desert girl!
I just love this cactus set and can’t wait to start playing with it! Your cards have given me lots of inspiration! And I live in Nebraska but wish I lived in Arizona about this time of year!
Hi Judy: I won’t bore you with the temperature today (oops, high of 76). It’s only 44 right now but I love the coolness in winter!
