Simple & Pretty Love What You Do Friend Card

Create a simple friend card using Love What You Do stamp set - Mary Fish StampinUp Idea

Today’s friend card is primarily neutral (Whisper White and Gray Granite) with the perfect pop of Poppy Parade.  Gray Granite (a new core collection color) and Poppy Parade (a returning In Color) are part of the Stampin’ Up! Color Revamp.  New colors, retiring colors, new ink pad design and color comparisons are summarized here.

The Share What You Love Bundles (on sale here) have been an uber popular way for customers to get their hands on new products before the annual catalog begins June 1.  I used many of the products in the Share What You Love product suite on today’s card.

  1. Mary,
I’m writing to ask if the new Stamparatus will work with cling stamps. Most of my background stamps are red rubber with “cling mount” on top.

    • Hi Kathy: The Stamparatus works with photopolymer (clear) as well as red rubber (cling style) stamps. This page offers lots of tips and information on the Stamparatus: https://wp.me/P63haQ-hzk

  2. Oh MsMary. What BEAUITFUL colors , I love that combo, ,I forget to play with that flower ,from my set , Tfs
    Hugs Frenchie ♥️

  3. I love this color combo, Mary. Grays are not usually on my radar, but they are becoming so on-trend, that I’m being swayed in that direction. Love the embossed background flower and the lovely pop of Poppy Parade. Can’t wait to get my hands on some of these new colors. Enjoy your day!

    • Gray Granite is my new neutral favorite. It’s warmer than Smokey Slate . . . like stone! Beautiful paired with just about anything.

  4. We are in trouble with these two gorgeous colors – order me up a few more packs of each! Such a great card, Mary!

    • I appreciate that, BK. Poppy Parade is my favorite, favorite of the returning In Colors via the Color Revamp!

  5. Mary, I love this elegant color combination, it makes the pop of red stand out beautifully.
And I must say that the Lovely Floral embossing folder adds so much texture to your design, whether used front and center or just lightly showing, it’s a stunning decoration for our cards.
This one is on my wishlist from the new catalog already.
    Thank you for the inspiration!!
    XO
    Maria.

  6. The new color combination on this card is FABULOUS!! You hit this one OUT OF THE PARK my friend. Thanks for sharing.
