STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:

  • I think the background (Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stack) looks like crystalized ice.  Perfect for a winter card.

  • Smitten Mittens Photopolymer stamp set includes the outline for the mittens, cuffs, snowflakes and sentiment.  The translucent nature of photopolymer makes placement a snap.
  • The sentiment was snipped with the Triple Banner Punch and accented with coordinating Dapper Denim (and a of twist Whisper White) Baker’s Twine.

  1. Oh, heavens, BK. I should have credited you for your input on which background design to choose and especially for flipping the whitest crackle to the top! i appreciate your brilliance!

  2. This card couldn’t be more perfect, Mary! I love how you’ve used this crackle paper – such a great element behind the mittens. Even the orientation of the paper (with the whitest crackle on top and darkest on bottom) is brilliant! Plays well to make a beautiful card! <3

  3. I really am enamored of the Color Theory DSP. The mittens are really cute and you did a great job with the design as always!

  4. All three of your Smitten cards are ADORABLE!!!!! Love today’s card using the Color Theory Designer Series Paper. Just TOO stinkin’ cute!

    • Thanks so much, Kadie. Honestly, the mittens looked just as good with the color block patterns from Color Theory, too!

  5. Hi Mary, Love this card. I love mittens and have two very favorite pairs. I also love blue and white, the best combo.
    Have a great weekend.
    🙂

    • I think just about any shade of blue works for Christmas. Glad you stopped by, Nancy!

  6. These cards are awesome!! I love your ideas. They usually give me a jump start. The Ladies in our card ministry is thankful for you too!!! I wish you lived closer. We really like that they are gorgeous but simple!

    • Thanks, Jeanne. So excited your stamping friends and you are inspired from a distance! That means so much!
