I’m anticipating that Party Pandas stamp set will be one of the top choices as a free gift with a $50 order during Sale-A-Bration. Today’s birthday card features one of three adorable panda stamps. Sale-A-Bration begins Jan. 3.
I love hearing from you! Please leave me your questions or comments about the project for today.

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- I stamped and snipped three balloons with my Paper Snips. The Lemon Lime Twist balloon is popped up with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
- Easy Peasy! Strings to the additional two balloons were drawn with a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker.
- Papaya Panda-Monium! The adorable papaya paper on the front is from the Tutti-frutti 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper Stack (Occasions Catalog 2018 – Available Jan. 3). I used a second Tutti-frutti design for the patterned balloon.
- You can see ALL patterns in the Tutti-frutti collection as well as more sneak peeks of products from the Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration in this video reveal I created.
- The “happy birthday” sentiment (Party Pandas) was stamped, snipped (to create independent words) and popped up with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The “engineering!” Cut Basic Black card stock to 7 3/4 x 4 1/4″. Score at 2 1/4″ for the front (upper) flap. Layer Tutti-frutti designer series paper (1 3/4″ x 3 3/4″) and Lemon Lime Twist card stock (2″ x 4″) on the front flap.
- The bottom piece starts with a piece of Basic Black card stock (2″ x 4 1/4″). Tutti- frutti designer series paper (1 1/2″ x 3 3/4″) and Lemon Lime Twist are layered on top (1 3/4″ x 4″).
- The Panda rectangle (2″ x 3 1/2″) is layered over Basic Black (2 1/4″ x 3 3/4″). This piece anchors the top flap and bottom using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I got it as my first freebie. I love it, made my Valentine cards with it.
Thanks, Dorinda. I hope to ink it up again soon!
I’ve looked at this card since you posted it, and finally made a similar one today. Thanks for sharing all of your wonderful ideas. You are one of my favorite stampers, and I’ve learned so much from you. As a relatively new demo, I much appreciate your willingness to share your talents.
That’s wonderful to hear. I love that it added a little inspiration to your new Stampin’ Up! journey, Melissa.
I love this card. It is so different and my new favorite. I am also in love with Party Pandas!
Thanks for your sweet comment! Party on, Pandas!
I love this card. So adorable. Wish there was a framelits
Would love to know the size of the card.
Thanks
Pat
Thanks for your comment, Pat. The card base is a standard A2 size – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. Here are the additional cutting and measuring tidbits: Cut Basic Black card stock to 7 3/4 x 4 1/4″. Score at 2 1/4″ for the front (upper) flap. Layer Tutti-frutti designer series paper (1 3/4″ x 3 3/4″) and Lemon Lime Twist card stock (2″ x 4″) on the front flap.
Love the layout of the card…I’m going to make it today, thanks for sharing…
This layout works for so many stamp sets . . . even a simple sentiment! Thanks, Liz, for leaving a comment.
Got to have this for grand daughter she is 2 1/2 And loves to stamp and colour with nana…
How precious to make paper crafting memories together, Beverley!
The panda and papayas were combined for color . . . but unrelated to the Panda. I almost did strawberries! The sky is the limit when it comes to my decisions on designer paper!
Got to have that Papaya paper whether Pandas eat them or not!
I love you design instincts… so simple, uncluttered but effective. Many thanks for your inspiration!
Thanks, Sue. That means the world and is always my goal!
Thanks for sharing, Pat, and stopping by!
I think I will love this stamp.
Oooooh MsMary how cute , I love it , that’s on my list ,
Such a darling card , love that dsp too,♥️
Thanks, Frenchie . . . I’m thrilled you enjoyed the card!
I agree. I think that the Pandas will be the “cat punch” of the SAB!
Ordering mine tomorrow. 🙂
“Cat punch” of the SAB! Good analogy, Pam!
I can’t wait to get my hands on these beauties! Pandas are my favorite and everyone knows it so when we saw the sneak peek it was not so subtly unspoken that I will be having them! hahaha!
Glad you shared your panda enthusiasm, Amanda! I’m excited about them, too!
This card is very cute! The pandas are adorable and I can think of a few kids in my family who would love to have a Panda Birthday Card. Thanks for sneak peek. I can’t wait to see everything!
I think it’s a charmer for the wee ones, too, Karren!
Panda Love! And, I can’t wait to create that adorable engineered card base.
It’s easy and a nice change up, Debi!
Awww, he’s so sweet! Love this set 🙂
He’s a dapper little dude. Can’t wait to try the other panda images, Amy!
I couldn’t love this more, Mary! The colors are perfectly bright and cheery – a wonderful complement to this sweet panda! <3
Definitely bright and cheery. I love the paper and couldn’t resist including those papayas (unrelated to pandas I realize)!
These little pandas are so adorable, I’m in love.
Kiss, kiss the sweet pandas!
Such a cute card. Love the DP. Yes indeed I can see getting this set as my son is crazy for pandas. He wrote the Toronto zoo about how happy he is that we are borrowing the pandas. Next thing we know he receives an e-mail from our Prime Minister thanking him for his interest in the pandas. How cool is that?
That is SO cool, Beth. You’ll have to frame that email from the PM!
Very, very cute Mary. I especially love the solid black image of the Pandas. Looking forward to having this set in my collection.
Happy Friday!
🙂
They are so adorable. I love the balloons (or party hat) colored with Stampin’ Blends, too!
