This summery birthday card was stamped with the new Perfectly Wrapped Photopolymer stamp set. The set is available for purchase when the Stampin’ Up! 2016-2017 Annual Catalog begins June 1. Need a catalog? Learn how to get one here.
I believe every handcrafted card deserves a pretty envelope. One way to accomplish this is by using Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper and the Envelope Punch Board. The board can create 66 different sizes!

I whipped up a 1 Minute to WOW! Video to give you a closer look at the Perfectly Wrapped Stamp Set as well as show how easy it is to use the Envelope Punch Board. The board is on my “must-have” list of essentials for card making. I have tossed in lots of stamping tips in the video, too!
I LOVE HEARING FROM YOU! Please leave me a comment or question HERE on today’s card and video.
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- The photopolymer (transparent) nature of the Perfectly Wrapped Stamp Set makes it easy to place the flowers for the background as well as line up the sentiment within the dotted ring.
- The ring around “happy day” coordinates with the 2″ Circle Punch.
- I used retiring Crushed Curry Candy Dots as the centers for each flower. Click here to see what’s retiring and on sale (up to 50% off) while supplies last.
- The Envelope Punch Board + Stampin’ Up! Regals Designer Series Paper Stack (Crushed Curry) is the perfect formula for a custom envelope for my 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card.
- Hover and Pin it! The photo above shows key products for today’s Perfectly Wrapped birthday card that you can save or pin to Pinterest. OFF TO THE MEDITERRANEAN! Today my husband, Scott, and I are navigating airports as well as the Atlantic Ocean in an effort to travel to Barcelona, Spain. The charming boutique hotel above (Casa Fuster) is the perfect spot and neighborhood for us to get the feel of the city before we meet up with our Stampin’ Up! friends on a week-long Mediterranean Cruise on Sunday! I love Europe and my agenda is simple: tapas, wine, history and architecture. I’ll share photos and highlights of the trip on my Stampin’ Pretty Facebook page.
I have sneak peek projects and more videos planned for you on my blog while I’m away!
I love hearing from you! Please leave me your questions or comments about the project for today.

Crushed curry was my favorite envelope. Safe travels!
Love it. Must make some like it . I have several Birthdays coming up this summer
I like the crush curry envie Mary. I am sure the post person loves to delivery a sunny card too. Thank you for all your wonderful videos
I have to stick up for the black envelope! I thought it was interesting that the stripes didn’t match up on the black one on the back like the Crushed Curry did not that it mattered. I need to get a few of the butterfly stamps so I don’t have to wait in line to see if it can go cheaper or not. But, then the postal people can’t ask me what the card looks like! They have even been known to have me not seal it so they can see it before it is sealed and mailed.
I’m guessing it’s where I cut the black and white stripe to 8 x 8, Chris. Good observation. I still love the look! I love that the peeps at the post office want to see the card. I error on the side of just putting the non-machinable stamps on all my handcrafted cards!
Crushed Curry for me.
I am soooo jealous of you staying at Casa Fuster! I saw it many times in my career as a Tour Manager during our Barcelona visits; it is lovely and unique. Enjoy brilliant Barcelona and the cruise. I will look forward to your posts about the trip as much as I look forward to your creations.
That makes me even more thrilled to stay there, Barbara!
Mary,
I think the Crushed Curry is my favorite too! It would be the first thing I pull out of my mailbox with the “sunny” color. Love all your posts and always learn a little something along the way. Time to get my envelope punch board out and use up some of my designer series papers! Thank you!
Yes, Dori . . . use that designer series paper!
Mary, Your card and the envelope are so sweet. I love both of the envelopes. I I think I like the crushed curry a little bit better. Have a great trip. Thank you for always inspiring me. Your tips are always welcome. Have a great stamping day, Hugs, Ellen Hinds
Oooooh, MsMary, let see…… I love them both, but I think crushed curry, but either one will do in my mail box, lol , thank you for sharing,

Hugs to both of you ,
Hurry back !!! ❤️

Frenchie,
LOVE ‘EM BOTH my friend. You can always send me a card with the one you don’t end up using. (LOVE HAPPY MAIL!!!!)
Mary love the envelope bunch board. I bought it when it first came out. Your cards always inspire me. My pick is the Crushed Curry envelope.
Mary, how do you address the card? Do you adhere a label? Also, how do you seal the envelope once you have inserted the card ? Thank you! Jo
Hi Jo: I use an address label and seal the flap with Fast Fuse adhesive. I mail all my handcrafted cards with a non-machinable (butterfly) stamp from the U.S. Post Office.
What is a non-machinable stamp?
There’s a butterfly stamp USPS offers that is specifically for non-machinable cards (even says “non-machinable” on it). Most of our handcrafted cards would qualify.
Love this card, Mary, and the envelopes… so pretty!! Had to chuckle because I pulled out my envelope punch board yesterday – I have too many cards that are lacking envelopes! Safe travels… looking forward to your photos!
What would you use in terms of an adhesive to seal the envelope? Have a great trip. Many thanks.
Hi Lorna: I use Fast Fuse to seal the envelope flap after inserting the card! M
I like the crushed curry one best. Thanks for all your tips. Have a wonderful trip.
tough decision but crushed curry wins my vote
Mary, have a wonderful trip and safe travels! Looking forward to your videos 🙂
