One of the cool new tools in the Stampin’ Up! 2016 Occasions Catalog is the Big Shot Die Brush. It’s an ace at removing the little bits and pieces that get lodged in detailed dies. Note that it is not designed to remove remaining bits from the die cuts. However, my video will offer tips for that, too!
Tomorrow I’ll share details on the project I highlighted in the video using the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits Dies (140621), available when the Occasions Catalog begins Jan. 5.

Mary, thank you for making this video. I have been looking at the rose die. What color of paper did you use for the background of the heart. I love the card it is so exquisite.
I am anxious to see tomorrow video.
Hi Lora. It’s Blackberry Bliss. I went into more detail on today’s (12/19) post. Here you go: https://stampinpretty.com/2015/12/bloomin-heart-valentines-day-card.html
Awesome, awesome video, Mary! Thank you!
I’m so glad it’s helpful, Nancy!
Very helpful video, not to mention a very beautiful card! I am going to start working on my order. ? Thank you, Mary.
Thanks, Renee. I’ll share the details on the card tomorrow. Fun to make!
Can you actually order the Bloomin’ Hearts dies yet? I can’t seem to get it to work when I try ordering it.
You can order the Boomin Hearts Dies beginning Jan. 5, when the Occasions Catalog begins. Ditto on the Die Brush.
I used my brush the other day and wish I would have seen your video my friend. I thought something was wrong with both my die and brush. I only ran my die through one time and passing it through 3-times must be the magical number. WORKS GREAT NOW. Thanks for sharing this video with us…….Now I’m SOLD! (But I’m going to stay in my flip flops and leave my old high heel shoes lined up in my closet.)
I’m the queen of flip flops, Kadie. Thanks for your feedback!
Great video Mary. You’ve convinced me I need the brush and the precision plate. Cute card too.
They help a lot, Marlene, with detailed dies. It’s still critical to play with the sandwich to get the tension just right!
Awesome video, Mary! I have the new brush but hadn’t broken it in. Your video explained it all…like a new pair of high heels. Woo hoo!
Thanks, Brian! I still wear high heels and feel it’s worth it!
