Need a quick sympathy or “cheer up” card? This Quick & Pretty card (goes together in 10 minutes or less and requires minimal supplies) really helps me get my heartfelt messages off to recipients promptly.
I used this week’s Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge (PPA163) to get the wheels turning! I was determined to find a way to use these colors other than in a classic, patriotic style.
GOOD NEWS! The Pals Paper Arts Design Challenge has gone to a weekly (instead of twice a month) format–just the boost you need each week. Make it a point to play along!
STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:
- I cropped the same partial shape with the Stampin’ Up! Hexagon Punch for the mini envelope (tutorial below) that I did with the little jean pocket recently. See previous post and video for the pocket HERE.
- Imagine a trio of these little envelopes in different colors for your next card!
Ready, set, stamp and go! I love the Stampin’ Up! Note Card and Envelope set for producing cards in a jiffy. Very budget friendly at $5.95 for a pack of 20 Whisper White Note Cards and Envelopes.
I went outside the box and used Whisper White instead of Very
Vanilla. I preferred how white looked with the Cherry Cobbler Polka Dot
Paper (Regals Designer Series Paper Stack). Feel free to choose
similar colors (other hues or even other brands) and still participate in the
PPA challenge!
COMING UP! I’ll be in my “lab” this weekend experimenting with many of the new products from the Holiday Catalog. The customer sales period begins Aug. 1. Hope you’re ready for a Week of Sneak Peeks starting next Monday!
NEED A COPY OF THE HOLIDAY CATALOG and don’t have a current relationship with another Stampin’ up! Demonstrator? Fill out this form and I’ll send you one FREE. U.S. residents only. My Stampin’ Pretty Preferred Customers will automatically be receiving them–no need to email me! Expected catalog arrival no later than July 31.
