Got green?  The new Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge (PPA130) is all about green (and a wee bit of St. Patty’s, if you choose).

The PPA Design Team is suggesting you grab Lucky Limeade and Always Artichoke (or any combo of green) for your card creation PLUS a color of your choice.  Be sure to check out the fabulous green inspiration by the PPA Design Team on the Pals Paper Arts Challenge Blog.

SIMPLY SCORED DIAGONAL PLATE STARTING TODAY.  This “must have” accessory for the Simply Scored Scoring Tool is your quick and easy path to beautiful custom envelopes and 3-D items.  I whipped up my envelope for today’s card in a couple minutes.  Learn more about the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate from my post earlier this week.

DON’T MISS.  Stampin’ Up! has a video tutorial for you demonstrating the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate.

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS:   Create a medium envelope (5 3/4″ x 4 3/8″) with the Stampin’ Up! Simply Scored Diagonal Plate:

  • Cut Designer Series Paper to 7 3/4″ x 7 3/4″
  • Score 2 opposite corners using the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate (and Simply Scored Scoring Tool) at 4 1/8″.
  • Score remaining 2 opposite corners using the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate at 3 1/8″
  • Using a 1 3/8″ Square Punch, notch the sides (see my previous photo tutorial for a visual).
  • Fold in side flaps and then fold bottom flap up.
  • Trim excess paper from bottom flap.
  • I used the 3/16″ Corner Punch on the “point” of the top flap for a little added detail.
  • Adhere using Sticky Strip (104294) or Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755)
