This sentiment from the Stampin' Up! Word Play stamp set says so much. It's a marvelous change-up for birthday, old friends or even anniversary. How about adding scrapbooking to the list of possibilities?
- Using the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, I cut both Pumpkin Pie and Early Espresso card stock with the Lattice Bigz Die (a Stampin' Up! exclusive).
- I filled in the Pumpkin Pie lattice "frame" with pieces of Early Espresso for a "leaded glass" effect. Big "WOW" factor. Check out my video tutorial on this technique.
- Just a touch of mini scallops. The Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch produced the sweet Pumpkin Pie edging.
- Again, I consulted the Stampin' Up! Color Coach for my palette. Daffodil Delight and Early Espresso are a recommended combination with Pumpkin Pie. Bonus! All three are part of the Stampin' Up! Getting Started Collection (p. 165 of the Idea Book and Catalog)

My favorite paper crafting tool is the big shot. I have used the texture plates, the flower fold die and scallop envelope the most. Punches rank a high 2nd.
Great cards. nice site, generous gift!
My favorite tool is my tag punch, I use it on ATCs and cards and as gift tags.
I tune into your blog everyday. I always get motivation and inspiration and lots of great ideas. Thank you for what you inspire in stampers.
I love the stained glass effects you create and this card is no exception! I love it and how you fancied up the sentiment. Hugs,
