Stamp Set: Cute and Curly Stamps (sold as a bundle with the Curly Label Punch)
Paper: Parisian Summer
Ink: Bravo Burgundy
Cool Tools: Big Shot, Bigz Die Pillow Box, Curly Label Punch
The Perfect Touch: Bravo Burgundy 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Designer Buttons
TIP: When you wrap ribbon, have the two ends meet underneath the tag so there are no seams.
BRIGHT IDEA: To create the "thread" for the button, simply cut a very skinny strip of card stock (Pink Pirouette here), slip through and carefully tie. You can flip it the other way (tie on the bottom) if you want a more polished look. You'll always have perfectly coordinated "thread" colors on hand!
Gift Card (3" x 2") and Scallop Envelope (3 1/4" x 2 1/4")
Stamp Set: Define Your Life
Paper: Parisian Summer, So Saffron Textured, Bravo Burgundy Textured
Ink: Bravo Burgundy
Cool Tools: Big Shot, Scallop Envelope Bigz Die, Baskets and Blooms Bigz XL Die (Flowers), Key Tag Punch, Trio Flower Punch, Scallop Edge Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch, Paper Piercer (Stampin' Up! Crafter's Tool Kit)
The Perfect Touch: Stampin' Dimensionals
TIP: The envelope ties in the front for easy opening. A simple monogram would be exquisite on the flip side.
Here's a step by step photo tutorial on creating the sweet envelope using the Big Shot and Stampin' Up!'s exclusive Scallop Envelope Die
I love the label die and then the pillow box. Your projects are gorgeous!
Wow Mary – you have been busy with your Big Shot! Everything is fantastic. I’ve been so busy getting ready for school that I’ve only played a little bit. But I’m back teaching tomorrow so I should more time to stamp soon – go figure! Note the change of e-mail. My other one got compromised last week.
Joan
Gorgeous projects, Mary! You got it going ON!
Hugs and grins
Here’s the first plan that I have for that label die: I’m going to send plastic water bottles (empty of water) filled with little Halloween treats and tricks to my grandchildren who live in another city. I will make a slit in the side of the bottles just a bit smaller that the label die to slide in the treats. I’ll use the label I cut to seal the slit and as its address label. Wrap some gaffer tape around the lid to keep it from coming off and put them in the mail. The post office will take them, too! I wish I could be there to see their faces when they see those fancy bottles in the mail!
Hi Susan: Such a clever idea. Reminds me of a ship in a bottle. Thanks for sharing!
Hugs, Mary
love it mary!! great samples…and yes, the big shot has won the debate…it’s on order!! yippy!!
I like them all but I love the gift card and scalloped envelope. What a wonderful way to present a gift certificate or gift card to friends and family.
Thanks for the close-ups…that DP is so yummy! The envelope die had me at hello…followed closely by the basket and the pillow box. Especially helpful for people like me who, err, waste a lot of paper trying 3-D paper crafts!
Mary,
I am new to this site as of this week. Wow!! The thought of what I have been missing!! Your work is so beautiful!! It is too hard for me to pick just one!! I will have to thank my friend for giving me your site!! Beautiful!! That’s all I can say!!
Mary: Without a doubt the first die I’m going to have to HAVE is the basket. All of your projects are fabulous and you have inspired me to get moving. Thanks for the awesome ideas. Kadie
The pillow box is adorable and your cards are, as usual, fantastic! You are demonstrating your Big Shot quite thoroughly. Who wouldn’t want it?!
Mary,
Thanks so much for sharing you tips. My favorite of the dies for the big shot would be the basket. I can think it would be nice for teacher’s gift or just a little thinking of you. The possibilities are endless.
I am lovin’ all of the fabulous things you’re doing with the Big Shot, Mary! I have not played with mine nearly enough!! Thanks for the inspiration! 🙂
Mary, you are driving me nuts with jealousy!! I totally covet that big shot and those dies…I desperately hope that SU brings them out in Australia next year, or I might have to move to the states 🙂
Mary, Mary, Mary, I tell ya, you make a girl really want those new dies!! You are making such great stuff with them, I wish I lived closer to you to come to your classes. Awesome stuff, keep it up
