Create This Quick So Swirly Happy Birthday Card

how dry embossing turns up the WOW:

Dry embossing is a technique in card making by using embossing folders to add stunning dimension and texture to your projects, creating a “wow” factor without needing to add extra layers or embellishments. Here’s how it enhances card making:

  • Dry embossing uses embossing folders (or other techniques) to raises portions of your cardstock into intricate patterns or designs.
  • By adding raised areas, dry embossing instantly makes a flat piece of paper appear more dynamic. It adds depth without making the card overly bulky, allowing you to create a rich, layered effect.
  • Dry embossing works with various themes, from elegant and sophisticated to fun and playful.
  • You can use embossing folders to highlight certain areas of your card.

  4. It’s so hard to select only one favorite, but I think I would choose layered floral embossing folder….partially because the black cardstock is so dramatic with the gorgeous design. They are all beautiful.
