Something for Baby!

Stampin up stamping stamp it demonstrator blog baby cards idea something for to say baby's first framelits

I’m a huge fan of stamp sets that coordinate with dies.  How about you?  Something for Baby stamp set offers a charming set of baby images plus coordinating Baby’s First Framelits for quick and precise cropping.  Both products will be available June 2 when the Stampin’ 2014-2015 Annual Catalog begins. 6a00e54f95df92883401a3fd064bf6970bThis week’s Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge (PPA204) was my design inspiration.  Check out what the rest of the Pals Paper Arts Resident Artists have created with this sketch HERE!

STAMPIN’ PRETTY TIPS.  Sneak peek products will be available for purchase on June 2, 2014:

  • SNEAK PEEK!  The baby carriage from Something for Baby stamp set and was cropped with a coordinating framelit from Baby’s First Framelits.

  • SNEAK PEEK!  Hello, Honey is one of the new 2014-2016 In Colors (see all new In Colors on this prior post).  It’s a mellow and warm golden yellow.  Yummy!  The Hello, Honey 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon will “wow” you with it’s tone-on-tone effect.  I used Hello, Honey Cardstock as well.

  • SNEAK PEEK!  The sentiment, stamped in Hello, Honey ink, is from Something to Say.  Bravo!  It offers great sentiments for card interiors, too!

  1. I cant wait to share more patterns from Lullaby. Adorable, soft and plenty of uses beyond baby!

  2. Love this set. I adhered a large magnet to the inside of the stamp case and keep the dies right with the stamps. I works out really well. I put a photo on the demo website.

  3. I LOVE stamps with matching dies/punches too! I think it’s smart that SU often “bundles” them together.
This is the second card I’ve seen with DSP from the Lullaby series and I’m liking that also. A very sweet card! Thanks!!

  4. I am a big fan of what you do with Stampin Up and have copied some of you ideas. Pop up with the owl punch are a hit with my grand-childrens and my grand- daughter who is 9 makes her friends b-day cards with me on rainy summer days. I think this set will be a great hit. Like you, I love stamps and dies set.

    Have a great day!

  5. Oh, I’m hanging, believe me!!! I keep spying the mail truck to come down my street. Yesterday I was doing some yard work when I saw it approaching, I got up, got the muddy gloves off of my hands and made a mad dash to the mail box…..to my dismay, only flyers and bills, ughhh!!

  6. The baby card is for a friend who just became a grandmother, Kadie. At my age, theres more call for that! LOL!

  7. I’m totally in love with this baby set. And your sweet baby card will delight any new mommy. Thanks for sharing friend!

  8. Hi Maria: There is a fabulous flower stamp set coming (photopolymer so you can layer in amazing ways) that has coordinating Framelits dies. I think it will be one of the hottest products in the new catalog (starts June 2)! Hang in there! Hugs, Mary

  9. . . . what is that word. . . enabler? Yes this is a cute card. Love it. The stamp set looks like a winner. 🙂

  10. What a sweet card! I love the colors, especially that DSP! That is good news about the framelits for the stamp set! I, too, am a big fan of cutting shapes that match stamp sets.

Your card made me think that the sketch would be perfect for a joy-fold card! Thanks for the inspiration!

  11. Oh Mary, I’m a BIG fan of stamp sets that come with matching dies or punches, specially flower sets, I wish there was a die for each SU flower stamp set. I love the Secret Garden set, to bad it’s retiring so, ladies if you don’t have this bundle, grab it before it’s gone!
I love this sweet baby card, the colors are so soft and beautiful and they work great for girls and boys. I can’t imagine snipping this little baby carriage for one card, let alone for many cards if you want to use it for a Baby Shower invitation. Thank goodness for the die and thank you for sharing.
