Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is “new 2024-2026 In Colors.” We hope to inspire you with our creations today! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
These sweet note cards are the essence of simple and modern card making. The Stampin’ Up! Sweetly Scripted stamp set (one of My Favorite Things) provides the “balloon” strings and message and the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing produces a delightful and richly embossed “balloon.” The coordinating 2024-2026 In Color Resin Dots are the perfect touch!
Watch my Stampin’ Pretty 1 Minute to WOW Video to see how easy it is to created embossed and die-cut hearts with one trip through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine!
my simple card tutorial
CUT YOUR CARD STOCK – DIMENSIONS:
- Summer Splash and Petunia Pop Card Stock:
- Die-Cut Hearts – 2 x 2 (before die-cutting)
- 2024 – 2026 In Color Designer Series Paper:
- Note Card Envelope Flap- 5 1/4 x 2 (before snipping)
PROJECT TUTORIAL:
Burnish the fold of the Basic White Note Card base with a Bone Folder.
Lay the note card on top of the graph paper to ensure it is straight prior to stamping the sentiment.
Use a Post-It Note© (or Masking Paper) as shown to “shorten” the balloon string of the Sweetly Scripted sentiment stamped onto the Note Card as shown in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) and the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder and Coordinating dies to crop the “Heart” from the Summer Splash and Petunia Pop card stock. TIP: Watch my Stampin’ Pretty 1 Minute to WOW Video here to see a Hybrid Embossing Folder in action!
Adhere the embossed heart to the end of the “balloon string” with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish as shown with coordinating 2024-2026 In Color Resin Dots.
PERFECT POLISH! Adhere the 5 1/4 x 2 Designer Series Paper to the Basic White Note Card envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Add glue to the flap. Flip to the inside of the flap and carefully snip away the excess with Paper Snips. Learn how with my 1 Minute to WOW video here.
