The Stampin’ Up! Perennial Lavender suite (one of My Favorite Things) is generating a lot of positive buzz for spring in the paper crafting world. In short, it’s stunning with its perfect product coordination, luscious colors and watercolor effects. The Perennial Postage dies (also part of the collection) are highlighted on my card (inspired by a spring mini catalog sample on p. 22) with three shapes. You gotta love that postage stamp edge and all the nesting possibilities!
WHAT I LOVE! To provide a simple “canvas” to the pretty lavender stems, I used the Stampin’ Up! Painted Texture Embossing Folder on Basic White card stock. It’s one of My Favorite Things because it beautifully mimics rich, painted texture.
NEED COLOR INSPIRATION? The color combination for today’s card uses one of the 5 Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper Color Combinations that I shared on Tuesday! You can see my Color Combination library here.

PROJECT TUTORIAL:
Begin by burnishing the fold of the Basic White Thick card base with a Bone Folder.
Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) to crop the Gorgeous Grape card stock with the 3 3/4 x 5 Perennial Postage die.
Adhere to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Zip the 3 1/4 x 4 5/8 Basic White layer through a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) tucked inside the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder.
Adhere to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Crop the two Lost Lagoon layers with the 2 3/4 x 2 and 2 1/4 x 1 1/2 Perennial Postage dies and a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini).
Adhere the larger die-cut to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the smaller as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) and the coordinating Painted Lavender dies to crop the Shaded Spruce leaf stems and the Highland Heather tall floral stem.
Ink the larger floral stamp in Highland Heather Classic Ink, stamp off once, then stamp onto the Basic White layer.
Layer with the narrower floral stamp in Gorgeous Grape Classic Ink, also stamped off once.
Crop with coordinating Painted Lavender floral die.
Arrange florals and adhere together. Adhere smaller Lost Lagoon postage stamp die cut with Mini Glue Dots (or adhesive of your choice).
POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish with 3 Purple Shimmer Gems as shown.
PERFECT POLISH! Adhere the 5 3/4 x 2 1/4 Designer Series Paper (DSP) to the Basic White Medium envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. IMPORTANT: Add glue to the flap first, not the DSP. Center and line up the Basic Borders angle edge die, tape to secure (Post-It Tape) and crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard). Watch my Stampin’ Pretty WOW Video here.
