Today’s card highlights the Tricks & Treats bundle, a not-so-scary cast of Halloween characters (like Frankie) that you can stamp and crop.
WHAT I LOVE! The zig zag die adds the perfect pizzazz and certainly can be used to spice up a card for any occasion and in any color.

CUT YOUR CARD STOCK – DIMENSIONS:
- Basic White Thick Card Stock:
- Card Base – 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2
- Basic White Card Stock:
- Layer – 3 1/2 x 4 3/4
- Die-cut Image – 2 1/2 x 2 1/4(before die-cutting)
- Basic Black Card Stock:
- Layer – 4 x 5 1/4
- Die-cut Sentiment – 2 3/4 x 1 3/4 (before die-cutting)
- Zig Zag Die-cuts – 3/4 x 4 strips (before die-cutting) – Qty 5
- Layer (below zig-zags) – 2 1/2 x 4 (before cutting to size)
- Parakeet Party Card Stock:
- Layer – 3 3/4 x 5
- Zig Zag Die-cuts – 3/4 x 4 strips (before die-cutting) – Qty 4
- Parakeet Party 2022 – 2024 In Color 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper:
- Envelope Flap – 5 3/4 x 2 1/4
PROJECT TUTORIAL:
Begin by burnishing the fold of the card base with a Bone Folder.
Layer and adhere the Parakeet Party to the Basic Black together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use a Clear Block B to stamp the trio of bats (Tricks & Treats Stamp Set) in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto the top of the Basic White layer as shown.
Adhere to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Crop the strips of Basic Black and Parakeet Party with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini)and the zig zag Tricks & Treats die.
Adhere to the Basic Black layer, alternating colors as shown, with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Trim to 3 1/2 x 3 with a Paper Trimmer.
Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use a Clear Block D to stamp the sentiment (Bag of Bones Stamp Set) in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Basic Black card stock that has been rubbed with an Embossing Buddy (Embossing Additions Tool Kit).
Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini)and the All That labels die.
Adhere to the card as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use a Clear Block D to stamp the bottom layer of “Frankie’s” head in Parakeet Party Classic Ink and the top layer of “Frankie” in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink (Tricks & Treats Stamp Set).
Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini)and the coordinating Tricks & Treats die.
Adhere to the card with a double layer of Stampin’ Dimensionals.
POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish with one Mossy Meadow Adhesive-Backed Speckled Dots.
PERFECT POLISH! Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the Designer Series Paper to the outside flap of a Basic White Medium Envelope. You can see my video demonstration with tips on adding designer paper to an envelope flap here.
