Today’s birthday card highlights the Modern Garden Bundle, one of my favorite, favorite parts of the new Stampin’ Up! Garden Walk Suite Collection. The bundle and collection will be available for purchase Sept. 6. Meanwhile, I plan to dazzle you with sneak peeks of their awesomeness and versatility!
WHAT I LOVE! The Garden Walk Suite and Modern Garden bundle are the essence of chic and simple style. The products coordinate impeccably. However, the crowning jewel is the Modern Oval Punch, which is a “go to” for cropping sentiments.

CUT YOUR CARD STOCK – DIMENSIONS:
- Pretty Peacock Card Stock:
- Card Base – 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2
- Basic White Card Stock:
- Layers -3 1/2 x 4 3/4 and 2 x 4
- Punched Sentiment Layer – 3 x 2 (before cropping)
- Garden Walk 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper:
- Layers – 3 1/4 x 4 1/2 and 1 3/4 x 3 3/4
- Envelope Flap – 5 3/4 x 2 1/4
PROJECT TUTORIAL:
Begin by burnishing the fold of the Pretty Peacock card base with a Bone Folder.
Adhere the 3 1/4 x 4 1/2 Designer Series Paper layer to the 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 Basic White layer together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Adhere the 1 3/4 x 3 3/4 Designer Series Paper layer to the 2 x 4 Basic White layer together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Adhere the layers together as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Double wrap with white Baker’s Twine Essentials, securing with a bow on the left as shown.
Adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use Clear Blocks to stamp the following onto the sentiment layer:
- Flower – Poppy Parade
- Flower Center – Wild Wheat
- Flower Stem & Sentiment – Pretty Peacock
Crop with the Modern Oval Punch.
Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
POP OF PERSONALITY! Embellish the flower center with a Pretty Peacock 5 mm Blooming Pearl.
PERFECT POLISH! Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the Designer Series Paper to the outside flap of a Basic White Medium Envelope. You can see my video demonstration with tips on adding designer paper to an envelope flap here.
