How to Say Thank You with Stampin’ Up! Inked Botanicals

Create a Thank You Card with Inked Botanicals Suite Collection from Stampin' Up! Card by Mary Fish, Stampin' Pretty

The pretty floral images in today’s thank you card will make you feel like a stamping pro.  They are soft, artful and remind me of pressed flowers.  They landed of the list of My Favorite Things for the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog.

WHAT I LOVE ! Luscious layering of Inked Botanicals designer series paper steps up the texture and style of this card.  A coordinating Lost Lagoon 1/4″ Bordered Ribbon and a Lost Lagoon Tinsel Gems Three-Pack dot are the finishing touches.

NEED COLOR INSPIRATION? The colors used on this card are based from the color combination shown below, one of five that I shared on Tuesday’s post.

Color Combinations Inspired by Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper - Petal Pink, Crushed Curry, Lost Lagoon

PRINT IT! My Stampin’ Pretty Color Combination Library is available as a PDF to view, save, and print!  NOW WITH A BOOK TWO!  My first book filled so many pages I had to start a new one!  Be sure to download both BOOK ONE and BOOK TWO!

PROJECT TUTORIAL:

Begin by burnishing the fold of the Lost Lagoon card base with a Bone Folder.

Stamp the two botanicals (Inked & Tiled Stamp Set) in Lost Lagoon Ink onto the Basic White layer as shown.

Layer and adhere with the two pieces of Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Wrap with Lost Lagoon 1/4″ Bordered Ribbon, securing to the back with Stampin’ Seal.

Create a faux bow by adhering the ribbon together and to the card with Mini Glue Dots. This allows the sentiment to lay flat.

Stamp the sentiment (Inked & Tiled Stamp Set) in Lost Lagoon Ink onto the Basic White layer.

Crop the sentiment and Inked Botanicals DSP with the coordinating Inked & Tiled Punch.

Adhere together as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Adhere to the ribbon with a Mini Glue Dot.

POP OF PERSONALITY!  Embellish the sentiment with a Lost Lagoon Tinsel Gem (Three-Pack).

PERFECT POLISH!  Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the Designer Series Paper to the outside flap of a Basic White Medium Envelope.  You can see my video demonstration with tips on adding designer paper to an envelope flap here.
